What are the fun things to do in Erenhot? How much does it cost to go to Erenhot?

Erenhot is known as the “Dinosaur City”. The Dinosaur Geological Park here is a major feature. Besides, there are also boundary markers and boundary monuments, which are also unique scenery of Erenhot. However, Erenhot is not only these scenic spots, but also has Zamyn-Uud, the new joint inspection building, Duke’s Mansion, etc.

This is a travelogue of Erenhot in 2012, from July 23 to July 28, six days and five nights, three people in a car, a total cost of 4,600 yuan, about 1,500 yuan per person. At that time, the houses were cheap and the food was cheap, so this money is incomparable with the present. At least the accommodation is twice as expensive, and the hotels that cost more than 100 yuan at that time are now more than 200 yuan.

Because of the road construction at that time, if you want to go now, you should drive with navigation and take the highway. There are many new highways. In fact, the highway in Inner Mongolia is not completely closed. There are many places where you can park and see the scenery for the convenience of the cattle and sheep herds. If you encounter good weather, you will have good photos. Why do you go to the grassland every year? It may be because you like the small number of people there, the cool weather, the fresh air…

Five years ago, I took more photos of the scenery. I didn’t take many photos of meals. I also benefited from my good habit of keeping a diary, otherwise I wouldn’t remember it so clearly after five years! At that time, I recorded some place names because it was fun, but I didn’t expect it to come in handy today.

I don’t know if this place still exists. We arrived late, had dinner and went to rest.

Watching the rain on the grassland, you can’t see the rain falling on the grass. You think there’s no rain. When you look back, the wipers are swishing on the car window. Then you look at the grassland, you can only see the rain falling on the puddles.
