The China Maritime Museum will implement a real-name online ticketing system starting today to create a more convenient, comfortable, and safe visitor experience. Currently, only individual (personal) reservations are accepted. The reservation process is as follows.

The China Maritime Museum will implement a real-name online ticketing system starting today to create a more convenient, comfortable, and safe visitor experience. Currently, only individual (personal) reservations are accepted.

1. Third-party cooperation platform. Visitors can make a real-name, time-based reservation through the museum’s third-party online ticketing platforms Ctrip, Dazhong Dianping (Meituan), and Tongcheng using their ID card.

2. Official WeChat of the China Maritime Museum.

Method 1: Enter the ticket purchase page through “Reservation – Online ticket purchase” in the official WeChat account of “China Maritime Museum.” (Retain the QR code and ticket purchase page)

Method 2: On-site ticket purchase. Visitors who have not purchased tickets online in advance can go to the ticket office on the second floor to purchase tickets in person with their valid ID. Staff will provide you with a physical ticket for entry into the museum.

Ticket Purchase Steps

1. Follow the WeChat public account [China Maritime Museum] and click on the [Reservation and Ticket Purchase] menu at the bottom, then select [Online Ticket Purchase].

2. Enter the ticket purchase applet and select [Entrance Ticket].

3. Select the [Visit Date] and please read the ticket purchase notice.

4. Select the corresponding [Visit Time Slot], select the corresponding [Ticket Type and Quantity].

5. Add real-name information, each ticket corresponds to a new real-name entry.

6. Confirm payment and complete ticket purchase!

Notes for Visiting

1. On the day of your visit, you must present your personal reservation QR code and real-time green “Suishenma” (or “Health Code”). Only visitors with green “Suishenma” will be allowed to enter the museum (children and elderly people must also provide “Suishenma”).

2. Visitors should use the “ticket verification QR code” to scan for verification at the ticket gate for individual visitors on the second floor / the second temporary exhibition hall on the third floor. If you are unable to visit on the scheduled date, it is recommended that visitors cancel their reservation in a timely manner to facilitate reservations for other visitors.

3. Visitors must wear masks at all times and maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters while queuing and viewing exhibits, avoiding gatherings. Visitors must have their temperature checked before entering the museum. Visitors with abnormal temperatures (≥37.3℃) or with symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath will not be allowed to enter the museum.

4. It is recommended that visitors limit their visit to 2 hours to avoid overcrowding in enclosed spaces. When the museum approaches an instantaneous peak in visitor flow, flow control measures will be implemented and visitors will be temporarily prohibited from entering the museum. When the overall daily visitor flow in the museum approaches the limit, the flow control plan will be activated in accordance with regulations, closing all channels and stopping the issuance of free admission tickets to ensure the safety of visitors.

5. Audio guide rental services are not currently available. Visitors can learn more about the exhibits through free area explanations and the “China Maritime Museum” WeChat public account – audio guide.
