Dalujiao Island is located in Dagushan Town, Donggang City, Liaoning Province. It is surrounded by the sea on all sides. The western sea area is connected to Zhuanghe and Dalian, and the eastern sea area merges with Donggang, Dalian and the Yalu River.
Dalujiao Island has always been a fortress in the sea of the Liaodong Peninsula. The Yellow Sea Battle of the Sino-Japanese War broke out on the sea surface of Dalujiao Island. The national hero Deng Shichang and 700 soldiers and four warships, including the “Zhiyuan”, were sacrificed and sunk on the sea surface of Dalujiao Island. There are Deng Shichang’s tomb and Deng Shichang’s statue on Dalujiao Island. In addition, there are Erlang Stone, Gaba Jujube Tree, Drip Water Lake, Tiger Cave, Camel Peak, Mao Wenlong’s Stele, Temple of the Sea God, British-style Navigation Lighthouse, Danish Church Ruins and other scenic spots on Dalujiao Island. The Moon Bay and Shuangzhu Beach, which are surrounded by the island, are natural seaside bathing beaches. Water sports should not be missed.

Dalujiao Island is located south of Dagushan Town, Donggang City, covering an area of about 6.6 square kilometers. It is 9 nautical miles away from Dagushan Wharf. There are many natural and humanistic attractions on the island, such as Erlang Stone, Gaba Jujube Tree, Drip Water Lake, Tiger Cave, Camel Peak, Qing Dynasty general Deng Shichang’s tomb and his statue, Ming Dynasty general Mao Wenlong’s stele, Temple of the Sea God, British-style Navigation Lighthouse, Danish Church Ruins and so on. The Moon Bay in front of the island is a natural bathing beach. The coastline is 3 kilometers long, 1 kilometer deep, and the slope is only 1 meter. The beach sand is delicate and there are no reefs at the bottom. It is one of the few high-quality bathing beaches in the country.
