March 1st, we flew to Sanya. Due to the flight delay, we arrived in Sanya at 9 p.m. As soon as we got off the plane, we felt a wave of heat like the dog days of summer. The driver had already arrived. A Northeast Chinese man drove a Buick business car, very comfortable.

We changed into our swimsuits and played on the beach with the child for the whole morning. The child was a little afraid of seeing the sea for the first time, but it was fine after a while. The child likes sand very much and has been playing all the time.

At noon, we went back to the room to take a nap. After waking up in the afternoon, we took the No. 2 bus to the First Market, not far away. There are too many people buying seafood. We bought three He Le crabs, one pound each, for 75 yuan per pound, one pound of mango snails, five elephant legs, and one pound of four-cornered beans.

On March 3rd, we toured Nanshan and Tianya. We booked a one-day tour online before we came. We booked it for three days, afraid that the child would be too tired. It turns out we were right. The pick-up and drop-off point of the one-day tour is at the bus station downstairs, which is very convenient. It’s also an advantage of living here, just go downstairs. In the evening, the tour guide of the one-day tour called to confirm that tomorrow morning, Nanshan and Tianya Haijiao will be at 7 o’clock. Because we got up too early, we brought some food to eat in the car for the child. When we arrived at Nanshan, it might have been too early, it was a bit cold. When we entered, we followed the tour guide to see the Sea-Facing Guanyin. It is really majestic. You have to spend 88 yuan to go up and touch the Buddha’s feet. We went there.

Actually, there’s nothing to see. I don’t recommend it. You can only see Guanyin from afar. There’s nothing close up. It’s better to take the electric car back. The Jade Guanyin also costs 20 yuan. We didn’t go in. The place is not big and there are too many people. The child didn’t want to go, so we just sat under a tree and rested for a while.

Next, we went to another attraction, it’s not big, just for lighting lotus lamps. You have to pay money for this too. We didn’t light it. Because next to it is a place to eat vegetarian food, we found a place to rest and waited for the meal tickets.

Vegetarian food is recommended to order together, 15 yuan per person. The taste is okay and it fills you up. It tastes delicious when you are tired and hungry. After eating, you can go back and take pictures and have free activities. We gathered at the gate at 1:30 p.m., and we had to go to Tianya in the afternoon, so we were a little rushed.

In the afternoon, we arrived at Tianya. Since there were people in the morning group who didn’t come to Tianya, the tour guide divided us into another group. The tour guide only took care of buying tickets and didn’t follow us in. He kept asking us to buy electric cars because we were running out of time.

Actually, the electric car didn’t take us very far. If you play for two days, you can walk. It’s not that big. After getting off the electric car, we walked by ourselves. You can walk along the sea, it’s very romantic. But we chose the small path next to it, it’s cooler. The sand on the beach is all hot.

After walking for 20 minutes, we saw Tianya, just two stones. We quickly took pictures. After taking pictures, we quickly returned. We were short on time. Actually, there is nothing there, just two stones.

You must apply a lot of sunscreen. I forgot because I was in a hurry. My face hurt when I washed it. After returning in the evening, we were too tired to eat, so we ate in Macau Street. The environment was very good. The three of us spent 220 yuan.

On March 4th, we went on a one-day tour to Wu Zhicun Island. What I dislike the most is that the tour guide keeps asking people to go diving and do water sports. We didn’t do any of them because the child is too young.

We just spent 160 yuan to take an electric car, 80 yuan per person. It’s not worth it. It just takes you for a ride on the back mountain and doesn’t let you get off the car to take pictures. You sit until you arrive at Mazu Temple and then have free activities. Keep going up to watch the sun rise from the rock. Actually, it’s not necessary to take the electric car. The developed area of this island is not big and you can walk around it quickly. When you get to the island, turn left and that’s the developed area.

Next time, you can choose to stay on the island for one night. After all, the seawater here is incomparable. The clear and transparent blue water and the white sandy beach are very beautiful.

When we came back in the evening, we went to Chunyuan to eat Wenchang chicken and some goat. We also had coconut rice. We didn’t like it very much, especially the Wenchang chicken was too greasy. We only ate one piece. It cost 200 yuan.

On March 5th, we went on a one-day tour to Yanoda. I personally think it’s good, a tropical rainforest with all kinds of plants. We just couldn’t hear the explanation because we brought the child. We could only listen to the electronic tour guide ourselves. The medicinal food was okay. We just ate it on the mountain. It costs 10 yuan more per person. The taste is ordinary and it fills you up. You need to book it in advance, including the rest time.

When we went up, a tour guide led us to visit the tropical rainforest. We went to the mountain to drink tea. This is to make everyone buy tea leaves. After eating dinner, we walked down from the Phantom Valley by ourselves. It’s all well-paved trails. It’s good to walk and play. It’s not far.

March 6th, we rested for one day, went to the First Market to buy some fruit, and bought some local products at Wanhao Supermarket. Then we checked out of the hotel. At 12 o’clock, we took a taxi to the Sanya Bay Cactus Hotel for 70 yuan.

We also booked the Family Suite package on Taobao. We added another 200 yuan to upgrade to a luxury pool view room. It was 1810 yuan for three days and two nights, including breakfast. It was good, breakfast alone is 80 yuan per person. It also comes with a pick-up service, fish therapy, children’s swimming rings, and a 100 yuan voucher. We ordered some food. Overall, it’s still worth staying in Sanya Bay for a few more days. Since the hotel facilities are good and the environment is very good, you can only feel the leisurely vacation atmosphere here. The Cactus Hotel is a bit behind, but the swimming pool is very beautiful and is said to be the largest. There is an electric car to take you to the beach, but you can actually walk there in a while. There are beautiful flowers all along the way.

We went to the beach once. The waves were much bigger and better than in Dadonghai. I was hit by the big waves as soon as I went in. Fortunately, the old LG was there. I was scared to death. We played on the beach with our daughter for a while and went back.

It’s still beautiful in the swimming pool. It’s so comfortable to lie on the hammock and rest. I regret that I booked too few days. We ordered the BBQ at the Global City online in the evening. It was okay. It was by the swimming pool, the environment was good and there were shows. By the way, the food is very expensive in Sanya Bay.

On March 7th, we got up very late. After breakfast, the father and son went swimming again. My daughter didn’t want to leave the swimming pool. We went to the Hundred Flowers Valley Commercial Street. There are many restaurants there. Staying in Sanya Bay here is a good place to eat, but we didn’t eat there. LG booked the Red Tree Forest Thai restaurant. We went there because we heard it was good. We ordered signature dishes He Le Crab, curry beef, pork neck, and another kind of eggplant. The daughter had drinks, LG had beer, and I ordered a cocktail. The Thai fragrant rice is quite delicious. And the environment of the Red Tree Forest is very good.

This meal cost over 800 yuan. The food was good.

On March 8th, we got up and went to the restaurant for breakfast. After packing our luggage, the hotel sent us to the airport. Our trip ended. Overall, the plan was good and the child wasn’t too tired. We had a very relaxing time.
