1. Zhenru Park

The wax plum blossoms in Zhenru Park have been cultivated for many years, resulting in a diverse range of varieties. This year’s wax plum blossom exhibition features over 1,000 ground-planted wax plum blossoms, including “Su Xin Wax Plum,” “Liang Ye Wax Plum,” and “Tu Tuo Wax Plum,” as well as over 70 potted bonsai for visitors to appreciate their fragrance and learn about their varieties.

Time: Exhibition lasts until February 20th. Open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

2. Shanghai Botanical Garden

Even in the midst of the cold winter and falling snow, they stand proudly on the branches, blooming more vigorously in the cold, demonstrating a spirit of defiance and resilience, which is truly endearing.

5. Yangpu Park

Wax plum blossoms are the last flowers to bloom in a year. Once the wax plum blossoms bloom, the New Year is just around the corner. They bloom against the cold at the beginning of the year. 6. Hongyuan Park

Hongyuan Park, located in Jiangchuan Road Subdistrict, is situated south of Jiangchuan Road, east of Hongyuan Road, west of Ruili New Village, and north of Binchuan Road, covering an area of 42,000 square meters. It was opened on July 23rd, 1960. The park features water-based landscaping, with mountains and water blending harmoniously, creating a sense of both gathering and scattering. The water surface meanders naturally, and the small island in the center of the lake, along with the pavilions, corridors, platforms, and bridges set along the lake, form a diverse and colorful landscape, with red as a distinctive feature.

7. Huakaihaishang Ecological Park

Currently, there are only a few scattered wax plum blossoms in the park, and they haven’t yet formed a large-scale display. However, the gradually blooming yellow wax plum blossoms release a fragrant aroma that fills the air. (Currently, the park is undergoing construction and maintenance. We recommend visiting the park to admire the blossoms during the 2022 Spring Festival.)
