2. Disney Wishing Star Ice Rink
This outdoor ice rink is located in the center of the Disneytown Christmas Market, surrounded by the town’s exquisite festive decorations and the winter beauty of Wishing Star Park. Professional ice skates, a complete set of equipment, helmets, gloves, socks, and protective gear are all available. There is a small part that can be used by kids for curling practice. The rest area has wardrobes and seats for parents to sit and play with their phones. There are staff members patrolling the ends of the ice rink, ready to lend a hand if someone falls. The different levels of courses here are 1400 yuan, 1800 yuan, 2000 yuan/10 lessons. One-on-one beginner courses are 305 yuan, not including admission fee.

6. Flying Ice Sports Center
It is said that this is the only venue in Shanghai with two levels of ice. The first floor ice rink covers an area of 1800+ square meters, which meets the Olympic standard, while the second floor covers an area of 1000+ square meters and is a training center. You can not only skate here, but also have the chance to watch hockey games. However, at present, there are more people in the two venues, the public skating rink. This skating rink is the first chain skating rink in China, and has opened several branches in Shanghai. It’s a relatively old brand. The Xin World City store is a bit small, while the Bailian Youyicheng and Bailian Xijiao stores have larger spaces, divided into beginner areas with handrails and professional areas without handrails, suitable for skaters of all levels. The equipment at this ice rink is relatively new, and they clear the ice every afternoon. Because not many people know about it, it’s not as crowded as other venues. However, the ice-clearing time is also counted in your skating time, so it’s recommended to avoid this time.
