Shanghai Grand View Garden is located on the bank of Dianshan Lake. It is a large-scale ancient garden designed according to the scenes described in “Dream of the Red Chamber”, one of the four great classical novels of Chinese literature, in the 1980s. It once won the highest award in the construction industry – Luban Award. The Grand View Garden, Yihong Courtyard, Xiaoxiang Pavilion, Hengwu Courtyard, and Daoxiang Village, which are well-known in “Dream of the Red Chamber”, can all be seen here.
