Recently, the 60-hectare Yuanxiang Lake in Jiading New Town has been dazzling with lights, announcing the official launch of Shanghai’s largest outdoor water scene performance in Jiading.

This is the largest-scale water scene and light show in Shanghai to date, and it is also Shanghai Poly Grand Theatre’s active effort to help Jiading New Town build a more iconic, livable, and reputable urban living room and Yuanxiang Cultural Source.

In the future, the “Elegant City, My Heart Yearns For” water scene and light show will become a permanent cultural program in Jiading New Town, continuously providing higher-quality integrated urban and industrial development living experiences and cultural feasts for residents of the new town. Please pay attention to official channels for timely information.

2、Qingpu New Town

After two years of careful preparation, the “Elegance and Clarity – 750th Anniversary of the Birth of Cao Zhibai, a Yuan Dynasty Painter, and Landscape Painting Exhibition” finally opened at the Qingpu District Museum. This exhibition depicts the scenes of the lives and interactions of literati in Songjiang during the Yuan Dynasty, centering on Cao Zhibai, from various angles, such as the Cao family, his hobbies in life, and Cao’s elegant gatherings.

This exhibition is not only a glimpse into the world of Yuan Dynasty literati, but also a gathering of Yuan Dynasty paintings. It features nearly 30 reproductions of famous paintings by Cao Zhibai and his friends, collected from museums and art galleries both in China and abroad, including the Palace Museum, the Shanghai Museum, the National Palace Museum in Taipei, the Princeton University Art Museum in the United States, and the Musée Guimet in France.

With the strong support of the Shanghai Museum, Cao Zhibai’s genuine work “Coolness and Green in the Evening” is on display for visitors (from now until December 15). This exhibition will run until February 15, 2023.

Recently, the “Yunbao Future City” art and cultural creative park located at No. 885, Wangjia She, Dongjing Town, has entered the trial operation phase. The park’s business model is a departure from traditional tourism, presenting a new trend of artistic life. Strolling through the park, you’ll find art toys, trendy bookstores, steampunk, themed pubs, handcrafted slow food, refined camping, and various other life interests.

There is also a “Collision Cafe” hidden in an art gallery. The cafe’s blue coffee cups are very distinctive and make for great photos. As night falls, the “Huo Jie Gun Lobster Shop,” with its container-shaped design and orange and black color scheme, starts to liven up. Here, you can not only enjoy barbecue and beer but also experience outdoor camping. In addition, there are the Giverny Garden, a green lawn, and a small theater for unleashing your artistic side.

4、Fengxian New Town

Recently, at the Nine Trees Future Arts Center in Fengxian New Town, you can admire a giant outdoor graffiti work, “Nirvana Phoenix,” measuring 16 meters tall and 12.5 meters wide. The vibrant colors brighten up the green of the forest, releasing the boundless vitality of nature.

“Nirvana Phoenix” is predominantly pink in color, complemented by four colors of white, blue, yellow, and red in the halo behind the phoenix, radiating purity and power. The colorful feathers on its crown are nimble and graceful, the tail feathers surround the blazing flames, and the phoenix is reborn from the ashes.
