Mu’erzhai Valley
If you want to go to Mu’erzhai Valley, you can drive there directly. The car can drive directly to the tent area. If you can’t find the location, you can ask the locals. You can bring your own tent or rent one, which costs about 180 yuan for one.
The camping altitude is about 3500 meters. There are two small streams next to the camp, as well as oddly shaped dead trees. There are wild flowers in bloom in June. On a clear night, you can see the stars. In the morning, you can see the sun shining on the golden mountain, or walk along the creek. The scenery along this section is very beautiful.
When you go to the scenic area, pay attention to the fact that Mu’erzhai Valley is at a high altitude, so it’s easy to have altitude sickness. Even though it’s June, the temperature is low in the morning and evening, so it’s best to bring a down jacket. The signal in Mu’erzhai Valley is poor, so it’s recommended to travel in groups. There is no electricity in Mu’erzhai Valley, so remember to bring a power bank.

Four Girls Mountain
It’s only about 20 kilometers from Mu’erzhai Valley to Four Girls Mountain. It only takes half an hour. On the way, you will pass the Cat’s Nose Ridge. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Four Girls Mountain from there. Four Girls Mountain has three valleys, Double Bridge Valley + Changping Valley + Haizi Valley.
But be careful that each valley is charged separately.
Double Bridge Valley is the most developed, and the scenery here is the most comprehensive and rich. Double Bridge Valley has a wide view, with about ten snow-capped mountains. Starting in June, there are flowers everywhere, sea buckthorn trees in all shapes and sizes, and tranquil lakes.
Recommended attractions in Double Bridge Valley include Siguna Cuo, Bonsai Beach, Ginseng Fruit Flat, rafting, etc. If you like photography, it’s recommended not to go to the Redwood Forest, the effect at Siguna Cuo is better. When you go there, pay attention to sun protection.
