This is the last stop on my journey, so I want to commemorate this unique place separately. I had once thought about what kind of situation would bring me to this place, to appreciate such beautiful scenery, to see the differences here, to experience its diversity – the First Bend of the Yellow River, here I come.
Early in the morning, we drove from the Zoige Grassland to the First Bend of the Yellow River. Although the road was bumpy because of road construction, it didn’t affect our appreciation of the beautiful scenery.
A Different First Bend
Along the way, we saw a river like a ribbon quietly winding through the vast grassland. When we arrived at the scenic spot, we chose to take the elevator to the high viewing platform, and the panoramic view of the First Bend of the Yellow River was in full view.
The beauty of the First Bend of the Yellow River cannot be expressed in words. Majestic and beautiful are not enough to describe its beauty. Our mother river, the Yellow River, is so winding and has nurtured so many children. At its source, it is so beautiful and open. The power of nature is amazingly and shockingly amazing!
Hongyuan Grassland
Leaving the First Bend of the Yellow River, we passed through the Hongyuan Grassland. The setting sun’s glow shone on the vast grassland, making it even more beautiful and peaceful. In fact, sunset is faster than sunrise. Not long after, the setting sun exhausted its rays and disappeared. Even in its final moments, it didn’t forget to leave people with a sense of awe. On our way back, we took a final glance at the setting sun.
About to embark on our journey home, this trip was rushed and happy. Our hearts were cleansed and purified by nature, sweeping away the gloom that had accumulated in my heart for many days! Yes, life is short, why be confined to small successes and failures, honor and disgrace, why not have a trip that you can just leave on, why not make a decision that you don’t have to think about too much… Some things we can achieve through our efforts, we should go ahead and achieve them; and some things we can’t achieve, we should learn to let go… Always remind ourselves not to blame our past selves for not being good enough for the present, because our present selves may not be good enough for the future… So let everything be as it should be, be happy and carefree!
