Speaking of Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area, you should all know that this place is one of the four famous Taoist mountains in China and one of the famous ten scenic spots in Chengdu. As a major scenic spot in Dujiangyan, many tourists visit every year. Today, I will share with you a one-day tour strategy for Qingcheng Mountain to help you avoid detours!
1. Tour Strategy
We took a more mainstream counter-clockwise tour route. After entering, we went in the direction of Yuecheng Lake. The ferry at Yuecheng Lake costs 5 yuan, but walking on the plank road is actually faster than taking a boat. It’s only a few meters away. Take the cable car up the mountain here. Qingcheng Mountain is not high, we chose to hike up the mountain. It only took half an hour to walk from the cable car station to the upper station. The steps are relatively narrow, but they are very gentle, making them suitable for hiking. If you are not particularly afraid of stairs, you can climb yourself.
After getting off the cable car, you still have to climb! Along the way, you can visit Ciyun Pavilion and Shangqing Palace, then continue upwards, Dong Hua Dian, and finally reach Laojun Pavilion (1260 meters), the highest peak of Qingcheng Mountain. Then go down the same way, passing Qiyun Pavilion, Chaoyang Cave, Woyun Pavilion, and on the far left is Zushi Dian. You have to walk a long way, and it’s uphill, so those with poor physical strength can give up. Go down through Tianshi Cave, Wudongtian, and Quanzhen Temple.
It took us about 6 hours to complete the tour. Please reserve enough time to play. There are many shops along the way, buying water and food is not a problem, but the prices are relatively expensive, but they are also acceptable. Many stone steps in Qingcheng Mountain are very old and may be uneven, so be careful along the way.
