Jixi Village in Taiping County is known for its Danxia landforms. The “Zhai Xia Grand Canyon,” a world-class geopark model area, and the Li Family Rock Scenic Area are located in this region. Within the area, there are majestic peaks, numerous caves, mottled cliffs, and clear streams. Scattered among these are villages with a strong, simple folk culture. Rural scenery is within sight, making it a beautiful village with a unique “one Danxia mountain village, one line of cave culture, one place of peace, one place of farming enjoyment” charm.
Zhai Xia Grand Canyon is the first geological science expedition route in Taiping and is a “model area for World Geoparks.” The three canyons, with their lush green scenery, are typical examples of the Youth Danxia landform. Guifeng Village has 39 typical ancient Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings, including the Cai Family Ancestral Temple, the Cai Family Ancestral Hall, the Stone Lion House, and the Louping Hall. It is one of the ancient villages in the province with the most complete preservation of ancient architecture. It has been praised by experts as “every house has culture, and the whole street is history.”
Walking into Guifeng Village is like stepping into a landscape painting with elegant taste and clear brushstrokes. As you stroll through the winding alleys, you can smell the sweet fragrance of osmanthus in the air. Linshe Village is located in the northeastern part of Qingliu County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. It is 35 kilometers from the county seat. Its average altitude is over 600 meters, and it covers an area of about 3.6 square kilometers. The village has a population of over 1,000 people in 236 households. The village retains many revolutionary sites and relics, with rich red resources. It is a “National Key Village for Rural Tourism,” a “Beautiful Leisure Countryside in Fujian Province,” one of the first “Golden Card Tourism Villages in Fujian Province,” a “Fujian Province Rural Revitalization Demonstration Village,” and a “Base Village of the Fujian Province Revolutionary Base Areas.”
Linshe Village has a Renshou Temple, which houses the golden statue of the “True Immortal of Five Grains.” It is the oldest temple of the True Immortal of Five Grains in Fujian Province. The Chinese Osmanthus Culture Garden collects 138 varieties of osmanthus and has over 60,000 osmanthus trees planted. It is currently the largest osmanthus theme park in China with the most varieties and the most comprehensive collection.
5、Jicun Village in Jiyang Town, Dateng County
This thousand-year-old village, Jicun Village, has the dual honor of being both a Chinese Traditional Village and a provincial historical and cultural village. Walking into Jicun Village is like stepping into a colorful historical picture scroll.
