Qinghai is not unfamiliar to me, as this is not my first time here. This time, I’m not here as a tourist, but mainly to accompany a friend. But since I learned a lot on my first trip, things have been going pretty smoothly along the way. Come join us as we explore Qinghai!

There were tons of tourists, and many of the halls in the courtyard are off-limits to photography, so I only took pictures of the architecture and scenery.

Third: Chaka
Then we went to Chaka. It rained in the morning and I was wearing a sunscreen jacket. I almost froze to death on the road. A kindhearted driver turned on the heater, saving my young life.

Fourth stop: Qinghai Lake
Finally, we arrived at Qinghai Lake. The journey was a bit long, so we had to leave early. It was also super cold in the morning. There were four little ones with us, and they were so well-behaved.

Beautiful things are all too fleeting. Five days seems like a long time, but it’s actually quite short. Farewell is for the next encounter. On the last day, I led the big group back to Xi’an.

【Best Travel Time】
The best time to travel to Qinghai Lake is between August and September. The temperature difference between morning and evening is relatively large, so you should bring one or two jackets with you.
【Accommodation】
Accommodation costs in Qinghai are generally around 80 to 120 yuan for a standard room in a hotel. Food prices are also quite reasonable, and overall consumption is normal. No malicious price increases.
