The sand is clean and golden yellow, the seawater is clear, and every day shrimps, crabs, and shellfish are pushed ashore with the tide. Lucky tourists often have unexpected small harvests. Every summer night, countless tents rise with the night on the beach, bonfires beside them are lit and laughter fills the air. The whole beach returns to the quiet of the night.

Xiapu Dajing Beach belongs to the subtropical monsoon humid climate. It is known as the “Hawaii of Fujian” and the “Daihe of Northeast Fujian”. The beach is 3000 meters long and 200 meters wide, and is complemented by Ming Dynasty ancient castles and other historical sites and myths.

5、Dajing Ancient Castle

Dajing Ancient Castle was built in the reign of Zhu Yuanzhang in the Ming Dynasty. Because this area of Dajing Village in Ningde was repeatedly harassed by Japanese pirates at that time, an ancient castle was built to resist foreign enemies, which was one of the four major castles in Fujian at that time.
