I. Introduction to Heilongjiang University
Heilongjiang University Museum is located at No. 74 Xuefu Road, Nan’gang District, Harbin, Heilongjiang University A District (Gezhiyuan), Tiantian Square, founded in April 2003, a new museum building was officially completed in 2011, is the first university museum in Heilongjiang Province. The museum adheres to the principle of “combining exhibition and education”, forming a distinctive feature of “highlighting the red bloodline and holding high the banner of education”. The museum has permanent exhibitions such as the School History Exhibition, the Collection of Cultural Relics Exhibition, the Special Exhibition on the New Chinese Literature and Art from Yan’an, the Exhibition on the Early Spread of Marxism in China, “Remembering the Original Aspiration”, the Exhibition on the Early Spread of Marxism in Heilongjiang, “The Red Road”, and the History of the Sushen Clan Evolution, which are National Social Science Popularization Base, Heilongjiang Provincial Social Science Popularization Base, Heilongjiang Provincial Patriotic Education Base.

This exhibition is a comprehensive display of the school’s development history over the past 80 years. Heilongjiang University is a school with a glorious revolutionary history and fine traditions, its earliest predecessor was the Russian Language Team of the Third Branch of the Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese Military and Political University established in Yan’an in March 1941, it is the first formally organized military foreign language school in the history of our party and army. The school history exhibition is divided into three exhibition halls, vividly reproducing the school’s arduous history, glorious traditions and brilliant achievements.
2. Heilongjiang University Collection of Cultural Relics Exhibition

This exhibition presents the civilization history of the Heilongjiang River Basin, vividly reproducing the ethnic customs and folk culture of the hunting and fishing people in the basin. The overall content of the exhibition includes two parts: historical archaeology and ethnic folklore, which outlines the origin and development of the Heilongjiang regional civilization in a point-to-point manner. From the ethnic groups in the Heilongjiang River Basin, two ethnic groups, the Oroqen and the Hezhen, were selected, and many ethnic relics or replicas related to food, clothing, shelter, and transportation were selected to comprehensively demonstrate the different living conditions and hunting and fishing culture of the Oroqen people who focus on hunting in mountains and forests and the Hezhen people who focus on fishing in rivers and lakes, and their historical origins with Han culture, showing the breadth and depth of Chinese culture.
3. Special Exhibition on the New Chinese Literature and Art from Yan’an

This exhibition is selected from the precious exhibits of the Yan’an Literature and Art Memorial Hall by the Yan’an Luyi Cultural Center, and is divided into six units: “National Salvation, Rush to Yan’an”, “Gathering of Talents, Founding of Luyi”, “Resistance and Founding of the Nation, Development and Growth”, “May Forum, Lighthouse Guiding the Way”, “The Great Prosperity of Yan’an Literature and Art”, and “Farewell to Yan’an, Towards the Whole Country”, comprehensively presenting the historical appearance, historical achievements and profound influence of Yan’an Luyi on the new Chinese literature and art. This exhibition revolves around the “Red Transportation Line” of the Chinese Eastern Railway, from the construction of the Chinese Eastern Railway to the convening of the “Sixth National Congress of the CCP”, it vividly reproduces the process of the early spread of Marxism in Heilongjiang and its important role in the early spread of Marxism in China.
