II. Yan’an International Ski Resort

Yan’an International Ski Resort is the largest urban ski resort in China, carefully built by Yan’an New District Development Company. It is located on the southwest side of the Guirenmao Viewing Platform in Yan’an New District, covering an area of 890 mu, with a snowmaking area of 322.5 mu. It has a total of 5 slopes, including cross-country skiing, advanced slopes, intermediate slopes, and beginner slopes, with a total length of about 5.5 kilometers. Two snow tubing tracks are open. The ski resort is equipped with ski equipment hall, corridor bridge, magic carpet, cable car, ski track and ancillary facilities. The maximum daily carrying capacity is 4,000 people/day. It is a city ski resort that is mainly winter-oriented, suitable for all seasons, and integrates professional competitions and leisure entertainment.

III. Cuihua Mountain Ski Resort

The only natural ski resort in Xi’an, and also the largest ski resort in Shaanxi, it is located within the scenic Cuihua Mountain National Geopark, a national 4A-level tourist area on the northern slopes of the Qinling Mountains. Cuihua Mountain Ski Resort is 1,200 meters above sea level, with a slope length of 700 meters and an average width of 50 meters. It opens around December 25th each year, but because it is in the mountains, if it snows, you can’t ski.

IV. Yuhuagong Ski Resort

Yuhuagong Ski Resort is located within the scenic Yuhuagong Scenic Area in Tongchuan, Shaanxi, and is currently the largest ski resort in northwest China. Currently, the ski resort has an average width of 50 meters and a length of 560 meters, making it the longest in northwest China. Two intermediate ski slopes are also under construction.
