1. Currently, there are three hiking entry points in the scenic area: Longevity Stone Path, Xian Gui Stone Path, and Yunfeng Stone Path. However, Xian Gui Stone Path and Longevity Stone Path overlap in the middle and lower sections, and the route is referred to as the Longevity Stone Path.

2. It is recommended to take the Longevity Stone Path, hike to Adding Longevity Peak, and then go to the rhododendron flower sea. You can then descend via Yunfeng Stone Path. This way, you will have essentially covered all the attractions of Guifeng Mountain, without having to turn back. It generally takes about five hours to complete the entire route.

3. You can take the cable car in the scenic area and reach the cable car upper station, which is the location of the Rhododendron Flower Sea Three Loop Lines. You can hike through the flower sea and reach Adding Longevity Peak, then hike down via the Longevity Stone Path and arrive at Guanshan Pass, which is the location of the South Gate parking lot. This route saves more energy.

4. For elderly and child tourists, it is recommended to take the cable car up and down. Afterward, you can visit the flower sea to Adding Longevity Peak and then return to the cable car upper station. After all, there is a section of the Longevity Stone Path and Yunfeng Stone Path that is quite steep, and it is not recommended to climb up and down, especially for those who are afraid of heights.

5. The Rhododendron Exhibition Garden at the foot of the mountain is worth a visit. The closest station in the scenic area is Yunfeng Stone Path, where you can get on and off. In front of the exhibition garden is Guifeng Lake.

2、Internal Transportation

1. Purchase tickets for the scenic area sightseeing bus. You can ride it at all stations, unlimited times. You can hail it along the way, but it will only stop at designated stations.

2. The sightseeing buses in the scenic area are all open-top, with retractable curtains on both sides. They don’t have any window glass. The mountain is high and windy, so be sure to keep warm.

3. Elderly and children need to pay special attention. Try to pull the curtains to the nearest position. Try not to sit on the edge. The mountain road is bumpy, so be sure to fasten your seat belt to avoid accidents.

3、Warm Reminders

1. Try to avoid rainy weather. During the season with abundant rainfall on Adding Longevity Peak, the top will be temporarily closed for safety reasons. The wooden walkways in the rhododendron flower sea are slippery in rainy weather. Remember, remember, remember, remember, to observe the principle of “don’t walk while viewing, don’t view while walking,” otherwise, you will fall and get injured.

2. If you hike to the top of the mountain, you can take the Longevity Stone Path hiking trail. It is relatively more energy-saving than the Yunfeng Stone Path trail. After all, the Yunfeng Stone Path side is mainly steps, with fewer buffer paths.

3. There are free hot water stations available for both going up and down. They are located at the exit of the cable car upper station. Among the many mountain peaks in China, Guifeng Mountain is very good in this aspect.

4. There are fewer retail outlets on the mountain. Before climbing, try to bring enough food and water, such as high-calorie chocolate, Red Bull, etc., to replenish your energy.

5. During peak blooming season, try to avoid large crowds. You can choose to visit during the early morning or late evening. Be sure not to miss the hundreds-of-years-old rhododendron king.

6. Regarding the location for taking pictures of the rhododendron flower sea, you can view it from the highest point, where you can see the vast flower sea, beautiful and magnificent. You can also ask the staff for the best spot. Anyway, I didn’t see anything. There was a lot of fog and continuous rain.

7. Guifeng Victory Scenic Spot, also known as “Guifeng Sunrise,” can be photographed at the “No. 1 Tortoise in the World” location, which is an excellent spot. There is a viewing platform next to it. It is best to go during cloudy weather, otherwise, you won’t see anything.
