Qianxi County is located in Guizhou Province. It is a typical small county with bustling streets and shops. The pedestrian traffic here is very dense and there are many delicious foods that will make you linger. Below we share the Qianxi Snack Street and a detailed food guide.
As night slowly descends, with nothing to do, I moved a stool and sat under a small tree. I lit a cigarette and looked at the dim lights upstairs, recalling today’s experience.
This summer vacation, I set off on another journey to a foreign land. I have been to Suzhou and Hainan before, but I didn’t adapt well to life in big cities. This time, I came to this small county of Qianxi. It’s not small, it’s a few times bigger than the county where I grew up.
But some places are still familiar. Today, when I took the bus through Qianxi County, looking at the buildings outside the window, the streets and alleys kept drifting past me. Indeed, this is a familiar taste.
Small cities have the taste of small cities, especially for nostalgic people like me. There aren’t as many skyscrapers and wide streets in big cities, which make people too distant from each other. Although the city is large, people lack vitality. Everyone is rushing around, going to work and getting off work, traffic jams are just a part of life.
Qianxi is neither big nor small, it has the prosperity of big cities and the hustle and bustle of small cities. Walking through the alleys, the people passing by are all chatting and laughing, there are young couples and old couples. They all have happy smiles on their faces, these smiles seem to have magic, like ripples, slowly spreading out, making the whole county filled with such happy smiles.
I wander aimlessly, this small city belongs to me, or perhaps the small county is suitable for me. There are small shops and snack shops along the road, of course, there are also the hallmark of small cities: street vendors. The cries of the street vendors fill the streets and alleys of Qianxi, in an instant, this county comes alive.
I went out to eat supper at night and walked to a beef restaurant. I looked at the price list for a long time and didn’t know what to order. I timidly said to the boss, “Give me a bowl of beef noodles.”
The boss replied, but I didn’t hear him. The boss repeated in a louder voice, “Large or small?”
“Small.”
The boss said to me, not very happy, “Why didn’t you say it when I asked before?”
My mood instantly went sour. How come the service attitude in Qianxi is so bad. Soon, the boss put the noodles in front of me and said kindly, “The chopsticks are in the disinfection cabinet.” Seeing the boss’s attitude, my previous unhappiness disappeared. Qianxi is still a good place.
Leaving the noodle shop, I rubbed my round belly, picked my teeth to remove the remaining beef, and looked at the flashing neon lights on the street, feeling very happy.
The night is already deep, the stranger is tired, time to wash up and go to sleep. Good night, the delightful little town of Qianxi.
