Lushan Mountain, also known as Kuang Mountain or Kuanglu, is located in Lushan City, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It sits east of Wuyuan Poyang Lake, south of Nanchang Tengwang Pavilion, west of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, and north of the mighty Yangtze River. From September 1, 2023, the Lushan Scenic Area will implement a “one ticket for multiple uses and multiple days” system. One ticket allows you to explore the ten scenic areas around the mountain. Tourists can visit the Lushan Core Scenic Area (5A Scenic Area) and other 10 scenic areas, including: Bilongtan, Bailudong Academy, Sandiequan, Guanyin Bridge, Xiufeng, Peach Blossom Source, Mawei Water, Lianhua Cave Forest Park, Tianhe Valley, and Daku Waterfall, for 160 yuan per person, within seven days from the date of purchase. Each year, March is designated as the “Free Open Month” for the Lushan Scenic Area.
2、Lushan West Sea, Jiujiang
Route: Yunju Island – Goddess Island – Ruoxi Island – West Sea Star – Mingzhu Island – Canghai Island – Sangtian Island.
Lushan West Sea, encompassing the West Sea Lake District and Yunju Mountain Scenic Area, is a comprehensive scenic area designated as a National Scenic Spot, a National 5A Tourist Attraction, a National Water Conservancy Scenic Spot, a National Forest Park, the largest earthen dam reservoir in Asia, a model Buddhist monastery nationwide, a National Sports Tourism Demonstration Base, and a National Educational Base for Primary and Secondary School Students.
3、Nanchang, Jiangxi
Route: Shengjinta – August 1st Museum – Wanshou Palace – Tengwang Pavilion
Shengjinta: It is a typical Jiangnan style brick and wood structure tower. The tower has seven levels and eight sides, with eight shapes inside and eight shapes outside. Its vermilion railings, blue tiles, ink corners, clean walls, and golden gourd-shaped top all have strong religious connotations. Its elegant eaves and hanging copper bells add to its beauty. It has been built with a Thousand Buddha Temple, Confucius Memorial Hall (Confucian Temple), Longxing Stage, Sword Pool, Bell Tower, Shengjinta Stone Archway, Exhibition Hall of Unearthed Relics from Shengjinta Underground Palace, Mingjiang Garden, Folk Village, Seven Door Folk Customs Picture Gallery, and other buildings.
Tengwang Pavilion: Located on Yanjiang Road, Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, it is famous for the “Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng” written by the early Tang Dynasty poet Wang Bo. It is known as one of the “Three Famous Towers of Jiangnan” along with Yueyang Tower in Yueyang, Hunan, and Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, Hubei, and one of the four famous towers in ancient China. It is also known as “the first tower of the West River”.
