How to get to Mount Wawushan by car

1. Transportation within the scenic area

1. Jinhua Bridge Cableway + Gufoping Cableway:

Take the Jinhua Bridge Cableway from the foot of the mountain (about 15 minutes to Gufoping in the middle of the mountain) – then take the Gufoping Cableway (about 10 minutes to the top of the mountain)

2. Jinhua Bridge Tourist Center Sightseeing Bus + Gufoping Cableway:

Take the sightseeing bus from the foot of the mountain (about 30 minutes to Gufoping in the middle of the mountain) – then take the Gufoping Cableway (about 10 minutes to the top of the mountain)

2. Bus Routes

1. Chengdu – Hongya (Xinanmen, Shiyangchang) passenger bus (every 50 minutes, 08:10 – 16:10)

2. Hongya – Mount Wawushan (06:00 – 16:30, every 40 minutes) The whole journey takes about 180 minutes

3. There are buses from Chengdu, Chongqing, Leshan, Ya’an, Emei, etc. to Hongya

3. Direct Bus Routes

Chengdu – Mount Wawushan Scenic Area Direct Bus

(1) Departing from Chengdu Xinanmen Bus Station at about 07:10, arriving at Gaoshengqiao Subway Station C exit at about 07:30, arriving at Taipingyuan Subway Station F exit at about 07:40, arriving at Caiqiao Subway Station A exit at about 08:10;

(2) Last bus time: 17:00 will return from the Jinhua Bridge sightseeing bus parking lot of Mount Wawushan Scenic Area

4. Operating Hours

Entry time: 08:00 – 14:00;

Jinhua Bridge Cableway operating hours: 08:20 – 17:30;

Gufoping Cableway operating hours: 08:40 – 17:00;

(The Jinhua Bridge Cableway and the Gufoping Cableway in the scenic area undergo regular maintenance every Wednesday. The cableway will be closed at 16:00. The scenic spot ticket sales and entry will be stopped at 13:00. Please prepare to enter the park early.)
