2. Huangjiawan Scenic Area
The Huangjiawan Scenic Area faces Ancient Longzhong across the river, it is said to be the residence of Zhuge Liang’s wife – the talented woman Huang Yueying. After visiting Longzhongdui, you can get there by walking through the ancient streets of Xiangyang.
3. Xijiachi
Xijiachi, also known as Gaojiachi, is located in the Phoenix Mountain area, it is an ancient private garden. Xijiachi is surrounded by water on three sides and faces the water on the other side. Here you can hear the singing of birds and see the flowers and trees. It is said that Xijiachi was built by Xi Yu, the Marquis of Xiangyang. It has beautiful scenery and picturesque views, attracting many tourists from ancient times to the present.
4. Migongci
Migongci, originally named Mi Jia’an, was built in memory of Mi Fu, a famous calligrapher of the Song Dynasty. Calligraphy enthusiasts can go and take a look.
5. Baizhuyuan Temple
This temple is hidden in the deep mountains and old forests, surrounded by lush bamboo and two ginkgo trees about 8 meters high.
This temple has a strong Zen feel, simple, elegant, and very quiet. Although this temple has a history of 1900 years, the ancient wells, bridges, and steles are well preserved.
