Volcano Island Nature Ecological Scenic Area is located in the coastal area from Qian Ting Town to Fotan Town, Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. The scenic area preserves the central volcanic eruption structure traces and the later weathering and sea erosion landforms.
The scenic area consists of “three mountains (Xiangshan, Yanlou Mountain and Yulinshi Mountain), three islands (Linjinyu, Nandeng Island and Zhengmei Peninsula), three bays (Qishawan, Jiangkouwan and Houcaiwan)”. Qingyuan Mountain is one of the eighteen scenic spots in Quanzhou, and also a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It consists of three areas: Qingyuan Mountain, Jiuri Mountain and Lingshan Holy Tomb, with a total area of 62 square kilometers. Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area is 40 li in circumference, with a main peak of 498 meters above sea level. Fujian Dehua Jiuxian Mountain is located in Dehua County, Fujian Province. According to county records, there were once nine Taoist priests who lived here and became immortals. Hence the name. The scenic area includes the Gutian Conference Site, Gutian Conference Memorial Hall, the former site of the Political Department of the Fourth Red Army, the former site of the Red Army Headquarters and a large number of national key cultural relics protection units.
Gutian folk culture is colorful, with Hakka food streets, Red Army sentry posts, Wulong Folk Square, Yellow Wine Expo Park, Red Army stage, Xinghuo Liaoyuan wax museum, Hakka countryside and so on.
