When people talk about Wuhan Wildlife Park, they are inevitably referring to Wuhan Forest Wildlife Park in Caiidian. This zoo is quite unique, but many locals in Wuhan don’t know about it. IV. Travel Guide
The location is relatively remote. You need to take Metro Line 4 to the terminal station Berlin, and then transfer to a bus to get there.
The ecological environment here is particularly good, with fresh countryside scenery. There’s even a faint fragrance of canola flowers in the air.
The first thing you see upon entering the park is parrots, in various colors and breeds. They will rub against your shoulders when they see you. There are over 2,000 parrots in this sizable park. It’s truly a “colorful parrot paradise.”
There are also miniature Shetland ponies from Britain, very small and compact, looking like miniature horses with particularly short legs. They are very cute running around.
There are giraffes, kangaroos, zebras, lambs, and many other small animals. All the animals here are free-range, and you can feed and touch them.
