Eight Villages Gorge is a natural landscape in Qinzhou City with a rich original ecology. The green bamboo forest, mountain streams, and fresh air make it a natural oxygen bar. The best time to visit is in summer, when the temperature is comfortable and the vegetation is lush, making it a summer resort. However, due to the heavy rain in summer, it is best to choose a sunny day to travel.
After entering the gate, you can see the White Villages Gorge waterwheel after walking a section of cement road. Continue forward, passing the ticket office, and continue along the road. This is the real gate of the scenic area. There is a map of the scenic area at the entrance, as well as stalls selling swimsuits, snacks, and water. The rest of the road is all artificial plank roads in the primeval forest, built along the stream, so you can play in the water at any time. From here, you can choose two routes, one is the core scenic area route to the Yaochi direction, and the other is the Wan Shou Valley direction.
Most tourists choose the core scenic area route. On the way, you will pass several small bridges and some beautiful pools, where you can jump into the water and play. If it is the rainy season, the pools will be more abundant. The most suitable place to play in the water is actually General Pool.
There are two ways to play at General Pool: one is to play in the water, if you didn’t buy a swimsuit before, you can buy one here, although there are few styles, there are small wooden houses where you can change clothes. The other is to continue forward to admire Yaochi. If you go to Yaochi, please reserve the play time, this section of the play time needs about 4 hours. Along the way, there are tropical rainforest landscapes with primitive features, with strange rocks and clear spring water.
Continue walking to the Red Stone Square, tourists who can’t swim can play in the water on the square. Walk along the road, pass a lucky tree, you can make a wish and pray for blessings. As you walk, you will pass a Peace Bridge, and there is a spring at the head of the bridge, the water from the spring can be drunk directly. There are strange rocks all the way, the next South Heaven Gate is also a gathering place of strange rocks, and then you will reach Yaochi, the largest pool in the scenic area, an artificial reservoir.
