1. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Ski Resort

The Lijiang Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Tourism Ski Resort is located at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, only 20 kilometers away from Lijiang Ancient City, which has been designated as a “World Cultural Heritage” by the United Nations. It is the closest natural alpine ski resort to the earth’s equator and the “warmest” one. As soon as you enter Lijiang, you can see its dazzling silhouette.

2. Opening Hours: 08:00-18:00

3. Location: At the bottom of the east slope of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Fanzi Dou, Yuanyang County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, at an altitude of 4500 meters to 4700 meters.

4. Activities: Alpine skiing, beginner skiing (with ski instructors), snowmobiles, snow tubing, large and small sleds and other snow entertainment activities.

5. Transportation:

Self-driving

(1) From Xuezhong Road (Forty-meter Avenue) to Runxue Square, purchase tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain cable car, 172 yuan/person (excluding insurance fees);

(2) You need to pay a mountain entrance fee of 105 yuan/person and a 80 yuan/person ancient city maintenance fee (totaling 185 yuan/person) at the entrance of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain;

(3) Then drive for 15 minutes to reach the snow mountain parking lot.

Bus

Take bus No. 7 from Xinda Street, the fare is between 7 and 10 yuan, and the other expenses are the same as above.

Airplane

If you arrive in Lijiang from Kunming by plane or train, you need to transfer to a tourist shuttle bus to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Other expenses are the same as above.

Tips:

1. The best time to visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Ski Resort is from November to March, when the snow scenery on the mountain is the most beautiful, and the snow is thick, making it the best time for skiing.

2. You can rent down jackets on the mountain, and you can also rent oxygen bags, 20 yuan each, but you need to pay a deposit of 100 yuan first (however, most tourists do not need to use oxygen. Please decide according to your actual situation).

3. In the medical room at the top of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, there is a medicine called Rhodiola rosea, which is specifically for treating altitude sickness, 50 yuan per bottle.

2. Shangri-La Ski Resort

The Shangri-La Ski Resort is currently the lowest latitude, longest winter, most adaptable temperature, best natural vegetation and geographical conditions in the northern hemisphere. The first phase of the Shangri-La Ski Resort has built a ski equipment hall with a strong Tibetan style and a snow-playing hall. The ski resort is also equipped with large and small tow ropes, cable cars, gondolas, imported artificial snowmaking systems, snow grooming equipment, snowmobiles and the most advanced ski equipment in China. At the same time, you can also experience the Tibetan culture that is different from that in the mainland.

Tips

3. Skiing time is calculated from 2 hours, less than 2 hours is calculated as 2 hours;
