1. Travel Experience
1. Stroll Along the Beach: A 20km coastline, flat and gentle
Double Moon Bay’s coastline stretches approximately 20 kilometers, majestic and spectacular, with minimal signs of human development. The beach is about 200 meters wide, the water is crystal clear, and the seabed is flat and gentle. Even 200 meters from shore, people can still stand in the water, a remarkable feature. Motorcycles and cars can drive on the beach, making for an exciting ride, as if on the sea.
You can find many beautiful shells on the beach. The expansive beach rivals Hainan’s beauty, making it a great spot for camping and relaxation. The white sands, the verdant woods, the azure sea, the diverse reefs, the charming islands, the passing fishing boats all create a dynamic and harmonious South China Sea fishing port landscape.
2. Time Travel in Pinghai Ancient City: A 600-year time machine, Ming Dynasty on one side, you on the other

It retains four complete gate towers, city walls, a complete cross-shaped ancient street, most of the ancient residences, a number of ancient temples, cultural relics, and numerous historical artifacts. Walking through it, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back into the Ming Dynasty, every step tells a story, every glance feels like time is flowing backward.
3. Visit the Sea Turtle Base: Learn about the journey of little sea turtles from hatching to adulthood
The Sea Turtle National Nature Reserve is located at the junction of Daya Bay and Honghai Bay, covering an area of 1400 hectares, making it the only sea turtle natural reserve on the Asian mainland. This place is beautiful, peaceful, and every year from May to August, a large number of sea turtles come here to lay eggs. The base has a sea turtle exhibition hall where you can learn about the various stages of sea turtle growth from hatching to over 300 pounds.
The beach at the Sea Turtle Reserve is also top-notch (rated 5 stars), with a gentle slope, fine sand, and exceptional thickness. It’s a beach chosen by sea turtles, not by human evaluation! This is also the only beach in Huizhou that currently charges an entrance fee. For thousands of years, generation after generation of sea turtles have been born and raised here, making it their lifelong spiritual home.
