Lianyungang Yuwan Scenic Area is a great place to visit with many must-see attractions. Do you want to know how to have a great time at Yuwan Scenic Area? Read on to find out!
1、Must-see attractions
Canglong Cave
The “Canglong Cave” is a natural cave with its mouth facing west. It shows no trace of man-made chisel, sheltered from the wind and facing the sun. The cave mouth is shaped like a “person” with ditch water dripping down from the top of the cliff. This is similar to the description in Wu Chengen’s “Journey to the West” of a cave “far reaching to the foot of the mountain, directly to the waves of the sea”. Canglong Cave is hidden deep in the mountains and forests. Before Yuwan became a tourist area, it was never known to outsiders except for rare mountain watchers who occasionally sheltered from the wind and rain here.
The “Canglong Cave” is actually a small-scale “Water Curtain Cave”. Due to its terrain, we can see that the “Canglong Cave” is no less imposing than the “Old Dragon Pool”.
Jiukong Bridge
The bridge is bow-shaped, with nine holes underneath, like nine dragons dwelling. There are three giant dragons in the middle of the bridge, like the leaders of the three dragon pools. There are 18 blue, yellow and green dragons on both sides of the bridge, with vigorous spirits. The dragons spit water and mist all year round, adding color and serving as a great place for the Dragon King to gather.
Sanlongtan
Looking east from the bridge, there is a huge rock inscribed with “San Tan Ji Lang”. As far back as the Ming Dynasty, it was famous for its unique ditch water. The waterfall is over 20 meters high, with a majestic and pure natural waterfall. The waterfall, cliff and strange rocks combine to create a scene like a silver river hanging upside down, with a thunderous roar, scattered flowers and snow, a magnificent sight.
