My friend’s company organized a group of customers to visit Yongquan Farm in Tongling. As I love to travel, I joined the fun.

While tasting delicious food, we also enjoyed songs and dances. Since ancient times, this has been the privilege of royalty. Nowadays, it is common for us ordinary people. The difference is that we are both viewers and participants, because each of us has a special skill and is confident and generous. One finishes singing and the other takes the stage, making the atmosphere lively and exciting.

According to plan, we drove to the Phoenix Mountain Scenic Area. Phoenix Mountain Scenic Area is located in the south of Shunan Town, Tongling City, and is a national AA-level scenic spot. We first arrived at the Tongling County First Party Congress Memorial Hall. This is an important base for patriotic education in Tongling City. It covers an area of 6,700 square meters, with a building area of 500 square meters. The hall is divided into four parts: “Sparks Ignite the Prairie”, “Anti-Japanese War”, “Victory Achieved”, and “Creating Glory”. It vividly presents the process of the continuous development and growth of the local party organization in Tongling. As it was noon and the sun was scorching hot, we only took a quick look at it.

Continuing our journey, we saw mountains, clear water and picturesque scenery in the distance. The air was fresh. There are large peony gardens here, which are famous far and wide. Every year during the Qingming Festival, they attract countless tourists to admire the beautiful scenery of peonies in full bloom. Although we missed the beautiful peony season, the lush natural landscape here still brought a coolness to the scorching summer.

This tree is called the “Acacia Tree”. Looking from a distance, it has different branches growing from the same trunk, like two ardent lovers embracing each other, showing their deep love. As you get closer, you can see the reflection in the water, like mandarin ducks playing in the water. The river is also named after the tree: “Acacia River”.

Since most of our friends are older, the staff were afraid that they would get heatstroke in the hot weather. We could only rest and take photos here.

This loving couple complements the “Acacia Tree”. Their beautiful photos drew applause from everyone. May their sweet life be as long as this ancient “Acacia Tree”!

The happy journey of the day ended quickly. When I returned home, another scene made me very happy. My considerate husband was making my favorite mutton and leek dumplings. He kneaded the dough, rolled out the wrappers, and mixed the filling himself. Seeing his serious look made me feel more touched than any sweet words!
