2、 Scenic Spot Introduction
Simian Mountain is located in Jiangjin District, Chongqing. It is called Simian Mountain because the mountain range surrounds it on all sides. The mountain is high in the south and low in the north. The scenic area is based on the primitive forest, featuring waterfall landscapes, dotted with Danxia landforms, streams, lakes, etc., and still maintains a primitive, natural, and simple ecological environment.
The waterfalls in Simian Mountain are the most famous, with over 100 large and small waterfalls. Among them, Wangxiangtai Waterfall is 152 meters high and 40 meters wide, ranking first in China’s high waterfalls. In addition, there are ShuiKou Temple Waterfall hanging above a natural cave, the Double-winged Waterfall, etc., each with its own unique charm.
