The Beijing-Shanghai Railway, National Highway 104, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal pass by the island, making transportation very convenient.

From Xuzhou to the north, you can get off at Lizhang A bus station (or Microshan Island station) on National Highway 104 (5:40-16:40, 22 buses daily, 2 hours journey, fare 20 yuan or so), take a three-wheeled motorcycle to Microshan Island pier (2 yuan or 1 yuan) or walk (1km total distance), and then take a ferry to the island (2 yuan/person).
2. From Qufu to the south, you can first take a bus to Microshan County (8 buses daily, 2 hours journey, fare 18 yuan) and then transfer to Microshan Lake Pier (half an hour journey, fare 5 yuan), and take a ferry to the island (2 yuan/person).
3. You can get off at Zaozhuang West Station (Xuecheng) by taking the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, then go to the bus station and take Xuecheng to Han Zhuang bus, get off at Lizhang A bus station (or Microshan Island station) (about 30 minutes journey, 4 yuan, 50 minutes/bus), get off and take a three-wheeled motorcycle or walk to the pier (1 km total distance), and then take a ferry to Microshan Island.
Travel guide
1. Because the scenic spot is very large, the natural and cultural landscapes are quite rich, so it will take at least a whole day to play. It is recommended that tourists arrange a two-day tour, focusing on Microshan Island and Nanyang Ancient Town.
