You only know that Dali and Lijiang are in Yunnan, but you don’t know that there is also a Tengchong in Yunnan. Tengchong may be relatively remote, so many people have not paid attention to this place. Today, I will take you to get to know this place.
I once imagined that the best life would be “a lifetime of love for one person, poetry, wine, flowers and tea, a carefree life.” I dreamed of finding a small courtyard with many flowers climbing on the walls, weeding and planting flowers in my own courtyard, and reading and drinking tea in the pavilion. Now the place of my dreams is right in front of me.
When I first arrived in Tengchong, I was arranged to work in this small villa. Although the weather in Tengchong is as capricious as a child, with bursts of light rain, it can’t stop my love for it. As I stroll through the courtyard, I watch it stand quietly in the drizzle, so peaceful.
As soon as you enter the door, you can see a small white mailbox. When I first saw the purple bougainvillea, I thought it was morning glory. I really made a fool of myself.
The plants after the rain are particularly fresh and natural. The master said that the plants planted here are specially selected, and they are generally easy to grow and insect-free. The overall layout looks very comfortable and pleasing to the eye.
Tengchong has entered the rainy season, and the small moss on the ground has become particularly lush after being nourished by the rain. Walk on it gently, it’s soft, like a natural carpet carefully woven by nature. Don’t be fooled by its cute appearance, if you’re not careful, you’ll have a “kiss” with the earth. This little guy is very slippery.
There are a few bamboo trees planted at the back of the house. Compared to the bamboo in the north, they are particularly green and lush. After being washed by the rain, they look even more energetic.
There is a stone table in a corner of the courtyard. Stepping up, there are many leaves left after the rain. I thought, if it were a sunny day, brewing a pot of tea, taking a novel, and sitting alone under the tree, how comfortable and comfortable it would be.
The landscaping here is very good. Green plants can be seen everywhere, climbing over walls and courtyards, a vibrant scene.
As I walked out the door, I happened to meet three local aunts chatting. I couldn’t understand what they were saying, it must be some trivial matters of life. Judging from their clothes, they should be responsible for the environmental sanitation here. The straw hat on one of the aunts’ heads attracted me. I had only seen it in words and pictures before, but now I see it’s really typical of the southern style. It should be great to wear it on rainy days.
The trip to Tengchong continues, looking forward to a better experience tomorrow…
