1、Jinghu National Wetland Park

Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park is rich in historical and cultural relics and is one of the first urban wetland parks in China to open to the public. There are 216 bridges with different shapes, including a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit, Bitang. Meishan on the east side of the park is named after Mei Fu, a famous scholar in the Han Dynasty, who lived in seclusion on this mountain.

Jinghu Lake is surrounded by green mountains, clear waters, and ancient buildings, presenting a typical water town scene. The park has mountains, water, and large expanses of lawns, making it an ideal place to spend half a day with your family and friends for a picnic or flying kites.

2、Didang Lake Park

The total length of the route around the lake is about 5 kilometers. As an urban park, beautiful lake scenery, exquisite gardens, and bustling CBD complement each other, creating picturesque scenery.

3、Jishan Park

Jishan is one of the three mountains in the ancient city of Shaoxing and is also a major historical mountain in Shaoxing. Jishan is the name of a type of plant called Jicao, also known as Cencao, which is abundant on this mountain, hence the name. Wang Xizhi’s former residence is located at the foot of the mountain.

Starting from the southern entrance of Jishan, you can climb the mountain, passing through the Zhuangyuan Pavilion to Jishan Academy. Jishan Academy was famous in history. Liu Zongzhou, a famous scholar in the Ming Dynasty, lectured in the academy, which was the birthplace of the famous Jishan school. In the late Qing Dynasty, the academy was changed into Shanyin County School, where Xu Xilin taught.

Guazhu Lake, formerly known as Qiaotang Bay, is named after its shape, resembling a winter melon. It is known as the most beautiful “Little West Lake”. Surrounded by 98 wells, three temples, and four ancestral halls, every step offers a scenic view and historical relics. The lake is surrounded by blooming flowers and willows, with a vast area and a harmonious blend of lake and light, creating a beautiful aesthetic.

5、Longshan Park

Longshan Park may not be large in scale, but it is a peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city. The mountain is covered with ancient trees and strange rocks. The northwest has a steep peak, which looks like a giant dragon raising its head from afar. With a roar, it appears to swallow the world, overlooking the tides and protecting the city of Yu. Being in the midst of it all, one feels a sense of beauty, adding a touch of green to the busy city.

When you come to Longshan Park, you must climb Longshan. The altitude of over 200 meters is not very high, and it is not tiring to climb. You can climb up the winding path, and it will take about half an hour to reach the top.

6、Zhuji Sports Park

The tulips in Zhuji Sports Park are not “photoshopped”. The vast expanse of tulip flower fields is brilliant and beautiful. You don’t need to go to the “Internet celebrity” Prince Bay Park, which is crowded with people. You can enjoy the romantic spring in Shaoxing!

The mountain in the park is not high, with a tranquil environment. There are rockery, small bridges and flowing water, and resting corridors and pavilions. There is also a Martyrs Cemetery and a memorial tower.

There is a relocated Yingtian Pagoda on the mountain. The old Yingtian Pagoda was originally located next to Huian Temple at the foot of Lutai Mountain in Shengzhou. It was a hexagonal structure with copper bells attached to the eaves of each level. It was a “seven-level pagoda” that was 20 meters high. There were wooden stairs to climb from the first to the third levels.
