1、Yaozhi River

Yaozhi River Village is located in Maqiao Town, Bao’an County, Hubei Province, at the junction of Fangxian County, Shennongjia and Bao’an County. It is a typical remote high-cold mountainous area. The whole village has two residential areas, 164 households and 649 people. The village covers an area of 33.4 square kilometers, with 700 mu of cultivated land. 2、Baishi Temple

The millennium-old Baishi Temple is located in Wudian Town, Zaoyang City, the “Emperor’s Hometown”, and was built by later generations in memory of Emperor Guangwu of Han, Liu Xiu. Liu Xiu became famous in this place and eventually established the Eastern Han Dynasty. “The True Dragon of the Son of Heaven Flies to Baishi” describes the birthplace of Liu Xiu, Baishi Temple. Baishi Temple is a key cultural relics protection unit in Xiangyang City, a key cultural relics protection unit in Hubei Province, and a AAA-level tourist attraction in Hubei Province.

3、Ancient Longzhong

Ancient Longzhong is located in the surrounding mountains of Xishan, 13 kilometers west of Xiangyang City, Hubei Province. According to the “Geography”, “Longzhong is in the air. Walking on it, there is a hollow sound.” The name Longzhong comes from this.

The famous historical event of Liu Bei’s three visits to the thatched cottage and the blueprint for revitalizing the Han Dynasty, the “Longzhong Strategy”, both took place here. It includes a university co-built by the central and local governments: Hubei University of Arts and Sciences (formerly Xiangfan University).

Longzhong covers a total area of 209 square kilometers. It is the place where Zhuge Liang and his uncle lived in seclusion during the Three Kingdoms period. In 1994, it was designated as a national key scenic spot and a national 4A-level tourist attraction by the State Council. In 1996, it was designated as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council.

4、Tang City Film and Television Base

Xiangyang Tang City Film and Television Base is located in the Xiandan Lijiang Scenic Area, which is rich in cultural heritage and natural beauty. It is connected to the Hanshui River to the east, faces Lucheng to the south, leans against Xiandan Mountain to the west, and connects to the ancient city to the north. It is a private garden of Xi Yu, the Marquis of Xiangyang in the early Eastern Han Dynasty, and has existed for nearly 2,000 years. It is one of the earliest extant garden buildings in China, one of the few existing Han Dynasty gardens in the country, and is known as the “First Family of China’s Suburb Gardens”.

Since the Han and Jin dynasties, it has become a tourist destination in the southern suburbs of Xiangyang City, and has a history of nearly 1,900 years. It is the earliest group of garden buildings in the country. It has an important position in the history of private gardens and is regarded as the “Ancestral Home of Private Gardens” by the “Garden Classic”.

6、Water Mirror Manor

It is named Water Mirror Manor because Sima Hui’s nickname was “Water Mirror Master”. In 206 AD, Liu Bei was killed in Xiangyang and fled to Water Mirror Manor on horseback. Sima Hui recommended to him “Fulong Fenghou, if you get one of them, you can pacify the world”, thus leading to stories such as “Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage” and “Longzhong Strategy”. Chu Origin — Wudao Gorge Scenic Area is located in the northern part of Bao’an County, northwest of Hubei Province. It is 22 kilometers away from the county seat and located at the intersection of Bao’an-Yichang and Bao’an-Shennongjia expressways. It is only 2 kilometers away from the nearest expressway exit. It is an important node on the golden tourism line connecting Yichang, Shennongjia and Wudang Mountain. It covers a total area of 88 square kilometers and is named after the five gorges, namely Wenyu Gorge, Wuyu Gorge, Suoyu Gorge, Wangyu Gorge and Deyu Gorge.
