II. Baitaishan

Enter G65 Baomao Expressway (Dasha Expressway) from the urban area, drive towards Dazhou, exit at Shitang, follow the signs to Chengwan Expressway, and reach the Baitaishan Geological Park at the end.

Baitaishan Scenic Area is located in Wanyuan City, Dazhou City, a national natural heritage site, a national geological park, and a national 4A-level scenic spot. The main peak of Baitaishan is 2272.3 meters above sea level, known as the second peak of Bashan. In addition to the main peak, there are also Lao Baita Peak, Du Xiu Peak, and Zhu Jian Peak. Du Xiu Peak is sharp at the top, like a pen or a tower. The solitary peak stands tall, surrounded by clouds and mist, appearing and disappearing, changing endlessly. Baitaishan has abundant rainfall and sufficient sunshine, forming unique meteorological landscapes such as Baitaishan sunrise, Buddha’s light, sea of clouds, and cloud waterfall, which are known as “Emei of Eastern Sichuan” and are the first place in Sichuan to see the sun rise.

4. Introduction to the Scenic Spot
Bashan Grand Canyon is located in Xuanhan County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, a national 4A-level scenic spot, a national geological park, a provincial-level nature reserve, a mountain canyon-type natural scenic area formed by karst landforms, and the location of the national intangible cultural heritage Tujia Pulling Grass Gonggu. The scenic spot has a long history and many historical sites. There are relics of General Ping, Running Horse Ridge, Tie Ma Shi, Datong Dangerous Path, and Stone Plank Road left by Fan Kui, who was stationed here during the late Qin and early Han dynasties; there are relics of Zhang Xianzhong and the White Lotus Sect, such as Qinglongzhai, Dazhaizi, and other relics.

IV. Fenghuangshan

Go up the mountain from Chaoyang East Road (Daba intersection) via Mengyazizi Street; or go up the mountain from Chaoyang East Road via Fenghuangshan Road.

The highest peak is 756 meters above sea level, a mountain and forest landscape-type city park. The mountain range runs from west to north, high in the west and low in the north, shaped like a phoenix, hence the name Fenghuangshan. It is composed of landscape gardens, Beiyan Temple, Erlongtan, artificial lake, corridors, pavilions, stele forests, botanical gardens, Baxiu Garden, maple forests and other scenic spots. It covers a vast area, with a reasonable layout and multiple functions. The mountains in the park are beautiful, the trees are lush, the flowers are vying for beauty, there are waterfalls in the mountains, and the lake water is clear. The environment is elegant, and it is the largest urban park in Dazhou.
