Day 2: Get up around 4:30 in the morning and take the bus from the entrance of the scenic area to the mountain to watch the sea of clouds and sunrise. It takes about half an hour to reach the top of the mountain. You need to hike for a while to reach the viewing platform (hiking takes half an hour to an hour, everyone’s hiking time is different). If you’re lucky, you can see the sunrise sea of clouds and the sun shining on the golden mountain. Generally, the best time to see the sunrise is from October to November, and the probability of seeing it is higher. You can return in the afternoon.
2. Accommodation Recommendations
1. Stay in a tent hotel near the scenic area. Staying in a tent offers a good view. You need to book in advance on the official WeChat account.
2. Stay in a tent on the top of the mountain in the scenic area, 350 yuan per night for two people. The advantage is that you don’t need to get up very early the next day. The disadvantage is that the altitude is really high.
3. Stay at the foot of the mountain. There are many hotels to choose from, just book in advance. You need to get up around 4:00 am the next day to take the bus from the scenic area to the top of the mountain to watch the sunrise sea of clouds.

Shenmu Lei is 52 yuan per person, Dawa Genza is 60 yuan per person, and the scenic area vehicle to the mountain is 80 yuan per person round trip.
