1、Suzhou River, East China University of Political Science and Law Riverside Trail
The Suzhou River, East China University of Political Science and Law Riverside Trail is like “one belt with ten scenic spots.” Along the 900-meter shoreline, ten landscape nodes are scattered within the campus of East China University of Political Science and Law, including the Si Meng Garden, Ge Zhi Garden, Yi Zhu Garden, Xie Zhi Garden, Huazheng Bridge, Tao Li Garden, Dongfeng Corner, Law Theater, Ginkgo Garden, and Book Fragrance Garden.
On one side is the Suzhou River, separated by a flood control wall, and on the other side is the campus of East China University of Political Science and Law. With gentle slopes, lawns, exquisite flower borders, and carefully crafted landscapes, the riverside space connected by slow-paced paths transforms into a diverse, vibrant, and shared “backyard,” making the century-old university a new and popular destination for photography and check-ins.

Also located on the banks of the Suzhou River in Changning District, this hidden gem resembles an extraterrestrial visitor, clad in armor, shaped like a silver dragon, exuding a futuristic vibe. This Suzhou River Landscape Walkway on Changning Road spans 1,600 meters. A stroll along the meandering walkway feels like walking through a verdant forest.
The tower stands at the far end of the aerial walkway. You can walk along the corridor bridge, enjoying the beauty of the Suzhou River. Ascend the steps and experience the city from different perspectives through the many irregular holes.

3、Lu Xun Trail
The Lu Xun Trail in Hongkou recreates Lu Xun’s real life. Starting from Jingyun Lane on Yokohama Road, follow Duolun Road north, passing by the memorial hall of the Chinese Left-Wing Writers League, the Ramos Apartment, then continue to Sichuan North Road, passing by the Naitan Bookstore, and finally arrive at the Lu Xun Residence in Dalu New Village.
Following the bronze-colored “Lu Xun Trail” signs, people feel like they are traveling back in time…From 1927 to 1936, Lu Xun spent the last decade of his life in Hongkou. Let’s wander through the shade of the plane trees and old houses, stroll along the Lu Xun Trail, and retrace the steps of the literary giant.
Huangpu District “Red Classic Trail”
As the first “Red Classic Trail” in Shanghai, this trail spans 7.1 kilometers, connecting the red relics and sites around the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Design elements are integrated along the way, and bronze ground theme logos are added to the walking path to guide people towards the next location.
Starting from the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, you can easily stroll to the founding site of the founding group of the Communist Party of China (the former site of the editorial department of “New Youth”), the former site of Youxin Printing House, and 14 other red attractions. Additionally, citizens and tourists can enjoy a richer hiking experience through the “Red Classic Trail AR Guide Platform.”
4、Pudong Riverside Trail
The Pudong Riverside Trail stretches from Yangpu Bridge to Xupu Bridge, offering three types of paths: cycling, running, and strolling. The cycling path runs parallel to the running path in some sections, while in others, it takes a different route. The waterfront promenade is closest to the Huangpu River, offering a wide and comfortable experience.
Along the way, you can experience the beauty of poetry and the distance, with numerous artistic destinations, such as the 80,000-ton silo at Minsheng Wharf, the Shipyard 1862 Fashion and Art Center, the Pudong Art Museum, Wangjiang Station, the World Expo Museum, and the Yichang Art Museum.
