Shaoxing Qiaopo Ski World

Shaoxing Qiaopo Ski World is the only sports venue in Zhejiang Province that can offer year-round skiing. It is mainly composed of a large indoor ski hall and a real ice skating rink. The ski hall has four facilities, including a children’s snow play park, a snowboard park, a beginner ski slope, and an intermediate and advanced ski slope, which can meet the different needs of snowboard and ski enthusiasts.

Through artificial snowmaking and refrigeration technology, even in the scorching summer, the temperature inside the hall is always kept around minus three degrees Celsius. The main venue is divided into a practice area, an intermediate slope and an advanced slope. The advanced slope is only for coaches and students. Visitors need to pass an exam to get on the magic carpet, otherwise they can only go up and down on foot. There is also a children’s area near the entrance, where you can take photos with snowmen, which is quite interesting.

Skiing here is charged by the session, each session is 4 hours, rolling time, no clearing the field, overtime will charge a certain overtime fee, be sure to pay attention to the play time. The ticket price includes the rental fee of ski clothes, ski boots and skis, as well as 15 minutes of free teaching, but helmets, wardrobes, etc. need to be rented separately, the price is between 10-20 yuan per session. Although the clothes provided by the ski resort are free, they are usually dirty, so it is best to bring your own if you mind.

If this is your first time skiing, it is best to have a coach guide you (extra charge required). Although it is not too cold inside the venue, ski gloves and hats are still necessary. They are not rented, if you don’t have them, you can buy them at the ski resort, about 30 yuan per set. If you are interested in snow bikes, you can rent one (60 yuan/hour) and have a coach guide you (30 yuan/half hour).

In terms of dining, the fast food restaurant in the hall mainly provides Chinese and Western set meals for customers; the Chinese restaurant serves Cantonese cuisine and other Chinese dishes; while the sports bar with floor-to-ceiling windows allows customers to enjoy the live skiing performances while sipping on freshly brewed coffee and various Western snacks. In addition, there is a comfortable sauna center here, where you can completely relax your tired body after skiing.

Indoor Ski Hall

The building covers an area of nearly 40,000 square meters, including snowboarding, skiing, snow play and other entertainment activities. It adopts international advanced artificial snowmaking and refrigeration technology. In the scorching summer, the snow inside the field will still be more than half a meter thick, and the ambient temperature will be maintained at around minus three degrees Celsius. The beginner slope is 200 meters long, 40 meters wide, with an average slope of 8%, and it has introduced the internationally advanced traction equipment “Magic Carpet”, which allows beginner ski enthusiasts to fully experience the charm of skiing while ensuring safety and convenience; the intermediate and advanced slope is 300 meters long, 40 meters wide, with an average slope of 17%, and uses a tow bar telescopic cable to reach the highest point of the ski field; the ski hall also specially designed a children’s snow play park for children, allowing them to play freely in the snow world. In addition, the venue also has a strong team of professional ski coaches, providing you with standardized and meticulous guidance on your movements and techniques.

Sauna Center

After a lot of physical exertion from skiing, the warm and comfortable rest hall of the sauna center allows customers to enjoy various health massages while watching the white snow whirlwinds on the ski slopes through the glass wall.

First floor Western Restaurant: Managed by the original team of Beijing Kempinski. The restaurant covers an area of 1000㎡ and can accommodate 200 people dining at the same time.

Chinese Restaurant: The operating area on the first to fourth floors is a total of 4000㎡. The first floor is the hall, and the second to fourth floors are 10-40 person private rooms. It mainly serves official cuisine, meeting your various dining and banquet needs.
