Chengdu is a very vibrant modern city, the central city of the Land of Abundance. It has rich cultural and historical attractions, is a famous base camp for Sichuan cuisine, and has beautiful women all over the street for you to admire. Below we share some must-visit places in Chengdu.
Everyone who comes to Chengdu has their own travel plan. If you have some free time, I recommend a few places for you.
ps: The recommended places are just the ones I personally think are good, so I recommend them to you.
Food section:
I only recommend a few places here, if you like, welcome to try.
Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3
Is my late-night diner:
Shop name: Zangtan Japanese Barbecue House
Address:
1. No. 26, Fifth Avenue, Jianshe Road (From the place where you go upstairs on Fifth Avenue, don’t go upstairs! Go straight ahead and turn left)
Boss’s phone number: 18381093998
2. No. 84, West Street, Golden Hawaii Food Plaza, Babao Street (Next to Sunshine Courtyard Crayfish)
3. Near Taikoo Li, No. 26, South Nangkang Street
I’ve been to the two stores on Jianshe Road and Babao Street. The fixed place is Jianshe Road. After finishing eating, you can go directly to the second floor to my favorite small bar and have a drink.
Personal recommendation reason: This is my personal late-night diner. The food is healing for me. No matter how unhappy work or life is, the moment I eat meat, I will be healed. I’ve eaten a lot of barbecue in Chengdu, but this is my favorite.
Recommended dishes: I suggest you finish all of them. For barbecue, the most recommended is dice! Meat!
ps: If you’ve heard of Heimen, you can also try it, but I haven’t been there because I’ve been there so many times. It’s not as good as this one.

My favorite small bar, only this one, no other.
Shop name: Gudao Drink Small Bar
Address: Jianshe Road, Fifth Avenue, go up the stairs to the second floor, turn left and go to the end.
Boss’s WeChat: gudaoxiaoxin
The wine at this store is all brewed by themselves. It’s the kind that you won’t get a headache even if you have to go to work the next day.
In many people’s eyes, Chengdu only has three attractions: Shaoling Road, Jiuyan Bridge, and Lan Kwai Fong.
This is a clear bar I love very much!
If you like lively, cc, Venus, Jellyfish, Royal, Venus welcome you.
I used to go to the bar a lot, but I don’t like it anymore. I guess I’m getting old.
If you like to listen to singing, then East District Music Park welcomes you, you like which one go in which one.
The biggest feature of this store is its self-brewed wine, which is very delicious. Black rice, cherry, green grape are all good. If you like high concentration, original juice is a good choice.
Very quiet, three or five friends come here to drink and chat is the most suitable.
If there are little fairies coming here, in the leftmost room on the sofa, if you see a long-haired girl, and she is alone, the boss is chatting with her, then it must be me!
If you like the style, you can go down. The boss is a very polite slightly overweight young man. There is a very elegant and very trendy girl, and a new fresh meat waiter.
I habitually go to eat my favorite barbecue first and then go upstairs to drink at the small bar.
There are many small bars on the second floor where you can play billiards.
The first bar on the left when you go up the second floor, their black beer is very good.
Vegetarian health-preserving hot pot (I can’t fit the picture in)
Shop name: One Leaf One World Tibetan Tea Vegetarian Hot Pot
Address:
1. No. 7, Jiajialin Road, Hongpailou, 2nd floor, 2-2-1, Hongpailou Guangchao Together
2. 2nd floor, 201, Tianjie Pedestrian Street, Longhu North City (near the Burger King on the pedestrian street)
3. 1st floor, Youpin Road Plaza Pedestrian Street, No. 99, Qingyang Avenue
4. 1st floor, Poly Center, No. 7, Lingsigguan Road, Wuhou District, behind the China Merchants Bank (near Taikoo Li, No. 46, South Nangkang Street, 1st floor)
This is a store that my mother likes very much. My mother is a TCM practitioner who pays attention to health preservation, and has Tibetan master friends, so she prefers it. If you eat too spicy in Chengdu and it’s hard to digest, I suggest you can go and try some different delicious food.
Different from northern mutton skewers, my favorite lamb kidney (I can’t fit the picture in either)
Address: South One Street, Fuchinse Road, southwest corner of the intersection with Fuchinse Road (ask the shop owner next to the store on Fuchinse Road, the First Qualified Mutton Skewer is there)
Mutton skewers take about 30-1 hour for one plate, after 6 pm there will be many people. There will be snack stalls next to it, like egg cakes, cold pot skewers, you can go to fill your stomach if you are hungry.
I can eat 30 skewers of mutton + 5 skewers of lamb kidney.
I won’t recommend or introduce hot pot and skewers, there are too many strategies for those.
I also won’t recommend Internet celebrity shops, I’ve been to many of them, they take a long time to wait and the taste is not so good.
The above few shops, I went to them often after eating there once, and I basically take my friends there. That’s it for food.
Drink tea:
The first place doesn’t have a picture, I don’t take pictures when I go there.
Address: Near Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road, No. 1, Chongde Lane
You can drink tea inside, the style is cold and light, it’s very good.
The second place: Wangjianglou, People’s Park
If you don’t mind the crowd on weekends, you can go to these places and have a look. Drink some big bowls of tea.
Of course, I don’t actually like to drink big bowls of tea.
The 4th, Picture 4
The third place: Mitcha
Address: No. 52, Xingfu Road, Xingfumeilin, Jinjiang District
The style of this store is very simple, not big bowl tea nor kung fu tea.
The shop name comes from the fact that it’s opened by a group of funny people, so it’s a pun on “metoo”.
I get along well with the boss, and then we added each other on WeChat. I go there, they will reserve a seat for me.
I learned a word there, “talking points”.
The fourth place: Xian Ting (a place with pavilions and towers) The 5th picture
Address:
1: No. 360, Qingjiang East Road, next to Eyin 1958 Film City, near the Second Ring Road Chengwen Interchange
2: Near Jiuyan Bridge, No. 9, Hongjinxin Road
3: No. 8, Binhe Road, Mengzhuibai, near the 339 TV Tower
I’ve only been to Qingjiang East Road. Even though I lived in 339 for a while, I didn’t go to the one in Mengzhuibai.
Very elegant, suitable for entertaining guests, weddings, etc.
Compared to Mitcha, Xian Ting is more upscale, more like a quiet enjoyment in pavilions and towers.
But I like Mitcha, because it’s more like idle people drinking tea and making friends, chatting with people you’ve never met before about life, feelings, talking about things you can share, and then becoming friends.
That’s it for drinking tea.
There are many places to play in Chengdu, such as Wuhou Temple, Jinjiang Park, etc., which are basically places that everyone who comes for the first time will go, and there are many people.
East District Music Park, cos comic exhibition, etc., are all there at night during the bar time.
So I won’t introduce them one by one. The surrounding ancient towns can be described in one sentence: all ancient towns are the same.
But I still put up two pictures of places, not many.
Luodai Ancient Town:
The picture included one of the heartbroken cold jelly. It’s authentic, really spicy and heartbreaking.
I can eat spicy food and I can be made to cry by it. Then there are too many stores, you have to find it yourself on the pedestrian street. After entering the gate, there is a small arch bridge, it’s the one there.
To get back to the point, basically everyone from Chengdu has already been to Luodai Ancient Town and doesn’t want to go anymore.
but, if you can discover the beauty in life, you will find it beautiful.
Many places have been transformed into art centers, with small streets and alleys revealing unexpected beauty. It’s a good place to go for painting on weekends.
There is a town next to it with European-style architecture. You can go and have a look. There are many pictures, I really don’t want to post them one by one. It’s waiting for you to discover the beauty there.
