What are the tourist attractions in Guizhou? Guizhou Travel Guide

There are many people traveling during the National Day holiday. Have you used the travel guide prepared by me? Whether you have used it or not, I still want to talk about some travel guides with you today. Today I’m going to talk about Guizhou. Here is some information about the attractions, transportation and tickets.

Qianyan Ancient TownWhat are the tourist attractions in Guizhou? Guizhou Travel Guide

This is the only 5A-level scenic spot in Guiyang. It is close to Guiyang and can be visited in one day.

Transportation:

1. Take a bus or taxi in Guiyang to Huaguoyuan Wetland Park. Take the 210 bus from the starting point to Qianyan. The fare is 2-3 yuan, pay by cash.

2. Depart from the train station. Take the 203 bus from the starting point to Qianyan. The fare is 2 yuan, pay by cash or card.

The reason why I suggest taking a bus from the starting point is because there will be seats. The journey takes 1-2 hours, which is long and there are many people.

Accommodation: If you are a tourist from another place, it is recommended to stay in Huaguoyuan area. There are many hotels and guesthouses, with favorable prices and good environment.

Others: Carry an umbrella, hat, selfie stick and so on. Carry more according to your needs.

As for tickets, the entrance fee is 10 yuan, and the combined ticket is 80 yuan. There are preferential prices and free ticket policies.

Qianyan Ancient Town was built 600 years ago as a military stronghold and is well-preserved. There are many snacks here, the most famous is Qianyan Pig Trotter. The whole tour of Qianyan Ancient Town takes about two hours, three or four hours if you go slowly. One day is enough, but it’s better to depart early in the morning. There are many people during the holiday.

Zhenyuan Ancient TownWhat are the tourist attractions in Guizhou? Guizhou Travel Guide

Departing from Guiyang to Zhenyuan, take the high-speed train, Guiyang North Station – San Sui Station. It takes one hour, and the ticket price is 100.5 yuan. After getting off at San Sui Station, there are buses and private cars going to Zhenyuan Ancient Town. The bus departs every half an hour, the fare is 17 yuan, and the journey takes about an hour and a half. A private car costs 40-50 yuan. You can choose according to your own situation. After arriving at Zhenyuan Ancient Town, you can take bus No. 1 or No. 2 at the bus station to go to the ancient town. There is no entrance fee to the ancient town. There is a Qinglong Cave inside the ancient town, which costs 60 yuan for tickets. You can choose to go there according to your interests. The night view of the ancient town is not bad, and there are many snacks. There are many alleys in the ancient town, where you can wander around slowly. There are many ticket offices in the ancient town that sell tickets to other places like Wuyang River, which are also worth visiting, but I didn’t go because I was short of time. You can take a boat in the ancient town, taste various snacks, have a cup of tea in the bar street, enjoy the night view, etc.

There are direct buses from the ancient town to Xijiang, the fare is 88 yuan per person, and there is also a combined ticket for 178 yuan per person, which is a good deal. I was going to Xijiang the next day, so I booked a direct bus ticket. We left from the passenger station at 9:30 am the next morning.

Accommodation inside and outside the ancient town is doubled during the National Day, and if you haven’t booked a room with a river view in advance, you won’t be able to book it.

Xijiang Thousand Households Miao VillageWhat are the tourist attractions in Guizhou? Guizhou Travel Guide

In Guizhou, in addition to Huangguoshu Waterfall, Xijiang is known to most people. This time I finally got a chance to see it.

Transportation: I booked a direct bus from Zhenyuan to Xijiang, the fare was 88 yuan, and the combined ticket was 178 yuan (including the bus ticket, the Xijiang scenic spot ticket, and the sightseeing bus ticket).

The ticket is 100 yuan, the scenic spot sightseeing bus is 20 yuan, and you can take it 4 times. It costs 5 yuan for a single trip.

Most people suggest staying overnight in Xijiang, the night view is very good, but considering that I had just seen the night view of Zhenyuan yesterday, and the exorbitant price of accommodation during the eleventh holiday, I decided to leave for Guiyang in the afternoon.

There is no direct bus from Xijiang back to Guiyang, unless someone happens to go back, you can carpool. Normally it’s Xijiang – Kaili – Guiyang. There is a passenger station in the Xijiang Scenic Area, where you can buy tickets back to Guiyang. There is a 17 yuan ticket from Xijiang to the passenger station, and a 25 yuan ticket from Xijiang to Kaili High-speed Railway Station. I took the bus from Xijiang to Kaili High-speed Railway Station, and then took the high-speed train back to Guiyang. The high-speed train ticket is 58.5 yuan.

Zunyi HailongtunWhat are the tourist attractions in Guizhou? Guizhou Travel Guide

Transportation: From Guiyang to Zunyi, take a bus from Jinyang Passenger Station. The bus costs 72 yuan and can take you to Zunyi Maocaobu Passenger Station or Zhongzhuang Passenger Station. It depends on your own situation. The buses going to the two stations are different. Be careful. I took the bus to Maocaobu Passenger Station. After getting off the bus, there is a minibus at the exit of the bus station that goes directly to Hailongtun, the ticket costs 10 yuan, and the journey takes more than an hour. There is also a bus that goes directly to Hailongtun, which costs 2 yuan, but it is slower. You can make your own arrangements based on time. I was short of time, so I chose the minibus.

Hailongtun – The only scenic spot in Guizhou that is also rated as a World Cultural Heritage, is one of the most well-preserved ancient military fortresses in the world. I came here because of its fame, but the weather was not good.

The entrance fee to Hailongtun is 80 yuan, and the round trip on the small train is 35 yuan. There are preferential tickets and free ticket policies.

It is best to carry a jacket or a sunscreen, and if you have a raincoat, it is best to carry it with you. The mountain is either sunny or misty. Carry some water and snacks with you.

Due to the bad weather, it rained when I climbed to the top of the mountain, and the fog was thick, so the photos I took were not very clear. The road is slippery, be careful.

Maotai TownWhat are the tourist attractions in Guizhou? Guizhou Travel Guide

Then we took a bus to the legendary Maotai Town. The bus fare (maybe because it was a holiday and it was evening) was 8 yuan per person. It usually costs 5 yuan per person, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. We watched the famous water show in Maotai Town. The combination of lights and water, interprets the history and culture of Maotai Town.

The next day we went to Maotai Town again, visited Maotai Tianniang Scenic Spot, took the cable car, and walked around the streets and alleys. We learned about Maotai Distillery and saw the panoramic view of Maotai. We went down and rushed back to Zunyi, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Zunyi Conference Site.

Unfortunately, things did not go as planned, and we were still late. We checked online and found that the conference site closed at 6 pm, but in fact, it closed at 5 pm. So we couldn’t go in and take a look. We took two photos at the door and left.

Transportation: From Renhuai to Zunyi, take a private car. Buy a ticket for 61 yuan at the passenger station, and they will take you to your destination in Zunyi. They took me directly to the vicinity of the Zunyi Conference Site. I walked there, but unfortunately, I still didn’t make it in time for their visiting hours. I’ll have to wait for another chance.

From Zunyi Conference Site to Zhongzhuang Passenger Station, there is a direct bus. I happened to catch the last bus back to Guiyang, the fare was 72 yuan. There was a traffic jam on the highway that night, and we didn’t arrive in Guiyang until after 10 pm. I got home at about 11 pm.
