I. The Big Loop of Yatai Mountain

Hiking Route: East Gate of Yatai Mountain→Laiwu Mountain Reservoir→Top of Big Yatai Mountain→Fengmenao→Elephant Rock→Wangjingkeng Village→Gaofeng Reservoir→Yunxi Valley→Top of Small Yatai Mountain→Lingshuikeng Reservoir→East Gate of Yatai Mountain.

Yatai Mountain, formerly known as “Yangtai Mountain”, is located at the junction of Longhua, Bao’an and Nanshan Districts of Shenzhen. The main peak is located in Shiyan Street, with an altitude of 587.3 meters!

Yatai Mountain is one of the “Eight Scenery of Pengcheng”. The area receives plenty of rain and has a pleasant climate. During the rainy season, the clouds and mist float and change unpredictably. The mountain is covered with lush forests and wild animals can be found here!

Yatai Mountain is rich in landscape resources. At the foot of the mountain, there are more than 10 well-known reservoirs, including Shiyan Reservoir, Xili Reservoir and Gaofeng Reservoir. Inside the mountain, there are famous attractions such as Xi Valley and Nurenniang Cave!

The big loop hiking route of Yatai Mountain is of moderate difficulty. The route is long, mainly consisting of climbing and walking on stairs. Therefore, this route is suitable for training-type hiking!

II. Hachaijiao Mountain and Sea

Hiking Route: Yangmei Pit→Nanao Luizui Mountain Villa→Gaoshanjiao→Hachaijiao→Maliao River→Dashenwan→Gaopangkeng→Dongyong Beach.

Hachaijiao is one of the five coastlines in Shenzhen. Its intensity and difficulty are no less than that of the Egongwan coastline. The journey is rich and varied: taking a speedboat, walking on mountain paths, climbing cliffs, and jumping on rocks along the sea for half the journey, allowing you to get close to the sea.

Difficulty: This route is complex and difficult. It involves climbing mountains and crossing seas all the way. It is suitable for hikers with rich hiking experience and outdoor experience.

The whole route is about 16 kilometers long and takes about 10 hours to complete.

III. Sanshui Line Hiking

Hiking Route: Baguang→San Gan Bi→Bijiashan→Huoshaoshan→Kuiyongao→No. 1 Kuiyong Boundary Monument→Tianxinshan→Baishilão→Suzu Keng Abandoned Swimming Pool.

The Sanshui Line is a holy land for hiking enthusiasts in Shenzhen, and one of the most classic and challenging routes.

The whole route is about 20 kilometers long, with more than 20 mountains to climb, a total ascent of 1,600 meters. It takes at least 8-10 hours to complete. Along the way, the scenery and mountains unfold before you like a painting.

IV. Egongwan Coastline

Hiking Route: Xigong Village→Dalugang→Youganwan→Egongwan.

The Egong Coastline crossing, all the way along the coastal rocks, climbing mountains and crossing valleys, passing through jungles, is exciting and thrilling.

This is the most beautiful coastline in Shenzhen, with fresh air, beautiful scenery, the blue sea, surging waves, and the sea breeze blowing on your face.

The total length is 11.6 kilometers, and the time it takes to cross the whole route is about 7 hours!

V. Xiaomeisha-Maluanshan-Dongbei Village

Route: Xiaomeisha→Diecui Valley→Maluanshan Shop→Honghua Ridge→Dongbei Village.

Maluanshan is 590 meters above sea level, located south of Daxiaomeisha. It boasts unique natural scenery.

On Maluanshan:

You can see the sea and admire the mirage of a fairyland on earth;

You can see the mountains and admire the magnificent mountains;

You can see the lake and admire the tranquility and tolerance of the lake;

In the summer, the temperature on the mountain is 3 degrees lower than that of Shenzhen City. There is no industrial pollution in Maluanshan, the air is fresh, there is no city noise, and the environmental quality is quite high.

VI. Fenghuangshan

Hiking Route: Bao’an First Foreign Language School→Shenzhen Le Dujuan Park→Main Entrance of Fenghuangshan Forest Park→Fenghuangshan Greenway→Top of Fenghuangshan→Main Entrance of Fenghuangshan Park.

Fenghuangshan is a low mountain range located on the east bank of the Pearl River Estuary in Bao’an District, Shenzhen. It is now a forest park in Bao’an District.

Fenghuangshan has towering peaks and lush trees; birds singing, fragrant flowers and fruits; murmuring springs, hidden ravines; beautiful stones, and ancient temples shining brightly.

The natural scenery is beautiful and the cultural relics are rich.

The beautiful scenery of mountains and water, steep cliffs and ancient caves, form a picturesque and magnificent landscape painting.

A greenway has been built in the mountains for tourists to relax, exercise and cross.

On the southwest foot of the mountain range are Bao’an International Airport and Shenzhen’s external highway transportation arteries, National Highway 107 and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway; to the southeast is Tiegang Reservoir, the source of drinking water for Bao’an District.

A radio and television signal transmission tower for Bao’an District has been built on the southern peak of the mountain range.

The whole route is about 9 kilometers long and takes about 6 hours to complete.
