Travel Tips
1. It is better to climb early than late. Be sure to check the weather before you go, and it is not recommended to climb in rainy weather.
2. There is no network coverage along the entire route of Lujiao Liang. If you are going to Lujiao Liang for the first time, it is recommended to download offline tracks online in advance. There are two forks along the way, the left one leads to Pao Ma Liang, and the right one leads to Lujiao Liang.
3.
There are no shops at the Niuan Gou trailhead. The nearest shop is in Haogou Village, about 1km of dirt road from the trailhead. Bring enough drinking water and food, such as mineral water, Red Bull, Pulse, bread, ham, chocolate, beef, fruit, etc. Please take away any garbage generated along the way.
4.
Be sure to bring a magic scarf, ice sleeves, or wear long sleeves. The purpose is to protect against sunburn, and secondly, to prevent being cut when traversing the arrow bamboo forest. Do not overexert yourself, and if you feel exhausted or the weather changes suddenly, you should descend immediately. Pay attention to the time during the hike, and if you do not have camping equipment, descend before 9:00 pm. The temperature in the mountains at night is low.
