Fujian Lefengchibi Ecological Scenic Area is located in Yongtai County, west of Fuzhou City. This scenic area not only offers the chance to enjoy mountains and water, but also has many short-tailed macaques roaming in the mountains. These monkeys are bold and will interact with tourists to ask for food, but it is important to note that short-tailed macaques are a national level 2 protected animal. Interaction is acceptable as long as you don’t hurt them. For details, please see below.

Ticket Price: Full price 40 yuan, Half price 20 yuan
Open Time: 8:30-17:30, stop entering at 16.30
Preferential Policy:
1. Children aged 6 (not included) to 18 (included) with ID card or household register can get half price;
2. Full-time college undergraduate students and below (excluding adult education, graduate students) with student ID card can get half price;
3. Senior citizens aged 60 (included) – 70 (not included) with ID card or senior citizen card can get half price;
4. Disabled persons with disability certificate of level 3 or above can get half price;
5. Active military personnel with military ID card can get free entry;
6. Children aged 6 (included) or under or height 1.2 meters (included) or below are free;

Transportation Guide
Bus Route:
1. Take bus No. Zhang 13 from Fuzhou Jinshan Bus Station to Chibi Station and get off, then you will reach the scenic spot.
2. Take bus No. 3, No. 3 branch line, No. 17, No. 18 from Yongtai Bus Station to Chibi Station and get off, then you will reach the scenic spot.
Self-driving Route:
1. Depart from Fuzhou City Center – Get on the expressway from Fuzhou South Toll Station – Get off the expressway at Ge Ling Toll Station – Pass through Ge Ling Town – Pass the Rainbow Bridge in the direction of Chibi Village – Scenic Area Gate
2. Depart from Yongtai County City – Go to Provincial Highway 203 – Pass Ge Ling – Pass the Rainbow Bridge in the direction of Chibi Village – Scenic Area Gate
Scenic Spot Introduction
Fujian Lefengchibi Ecological Scenic Area is located in Ge Ling, Yongtai County, Fuzhou City. It is only 36 kilometers away from Fuzhou City and only 20 kilometers away from the Fuzhou-Xiamen Expressway exit at Qingkou. The transportation is very convenient. The scenic area covers an area of 23 square kilometers with undulating mountains, strange peaks and rocks, waterfalls and springs, presenting the beautiful scenery of nature. The main sightseeing projects are: hot springs, mountain climbing, monkey watching, waterfall viewing, conferences, accommodation, barbecue, bonfire, paragliding, rafting, swimming, etc. Under the premise of well-preserved vegetation, Chibi Scenic Area has more than 200 natural wild short-tailed macaques, which are locally produced for tourists to watch. Short-tailed macaques can have zero-distance contact with tourists. Chibi short-tailed macaques are national level 2 protected animals, and Chibi Scenic Area is also a “Monkey Watching Area” approved by the Forestry Department.
