The village in my hometown is not large. It is surrounded by green mountains, with gurgling streams, and houses standing at different angles, not so neat. There are many old houses!
Standing on the top of the mountain, looking down at the village, the green leaves are swaying. A beauty with a summery touch is permeating the air. The trees are inviting each other and showing off their unique charm to everyone.
This time I came back with my good friend. Since I started university, I have never brought my friends to this small village, never let anyone break this tranquility that belongs to me.
My friend has been praising my hometown, saying it is a beautiful summer resort with clear mountains and fresh water. My friend likes this peace and quiet, and so do I.

I carefully walk into this quiet village… I stand at the door and look at the furniture inside the house, still the same as before. The swallow’s nest on the ceiling is empty, but it is still the same.
The house is built on the mountainside. The footprints of my parents are scattered on every inch of the land. They are grateful for, and obtain, everything that nature gives to the earth.
Growing up is so fast, time flies by, in a blink of an eye, half a century has passed. My parents are still working diligently with the thick mud. This is the reason why my parents have always told me to work hard.
