Attractions
1. Scenic Area Archway
Although you have not yet entered the core area of the scenic spot, the majestic archway in front of you has already amazed you. The exquisite stone carvings and the vivid expressions of the statues are enough to make you look forward to the excitement behind.
2. Six Degrees Square
The newly built Lingyun Road adds a touch of Zen to the original quiet and secluded Lingyun Avenue. It combines modern architectural craftsmanship with Zen charm, perfectly integrating industry and classical. Such a landscape is rare and can be photographed and checked in.
3. Scenic Area Front Gate
You must leave a memorial at the entrance. It is not only to tell others that I have been here, but also to leave a trace of the footsteps I have walked. After checking the tickets, it is officially considered to have stepped into Lingyun Mountain.
4. Outer Corridor
Before you embark on your mountain climbing journey, there is a small corridor that is often overlooked by everyone. At the end of the corridor is the east gate of Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. Bamboo is planted on both sides of the corridor. A straight line pulls through, which is completely “a secluded path”. This place has excellent light and shadow, and you can check in.
5. Lingyun Mountain Gate
The four big characters “Leshan Giant Buddha” are hung in the center, with a Zen saying “The Great River Flows East, the Buddhist Dharma Comes West” on each side. It is timely and appropriate, and also hides Zen. The journey to worship the mountain ends here, and the journey to worship Buddha is about to begin.
6. In Front of Lingyun Temple
The mountain is not high, there is a temple, it is spiritual. The open space in front of the temple is interwoven with branches and leaves of several big trees, using shade to block. Every day, the morning light is bustling, and the sunset is setting. Sunlight shines through the branches and leaves, casting a mottled reflection here.
7. Zen Room Corridor
Simple to the extreme, it is elegant. Elegance reveals a touch of Zen. People come quietly and leave quietly, leaving only the fragrance lingering and the sound of Sanskrit lingering.
8. The Buddha’s “Grandpa”
The viewing platform at the head of the Buddha is always the busiest place, and it is also a must-see for everyone who comes here. Take photos and make wishes here. After walking through Lingyun Plank Road, you will arrive at the foot of the Buddha. Young people sigh and marvel at this place, and older people reminisce about the past. Friends from all over the world gather here and become connected with Leshan Giant Buddha.
