Shihua Cave currently has 7 levels. The first 6 are caves, while the 7th is an underground river. It’s China’s first geological park themed on karst cave natural landscapes. Currently, levels 1-4 are open to the public. Shihua Cave is a cool 13 degrees Celsius year-round. Combined with the magnificent scenery inside, it’s a great choice for escaping the heat. The cave’s natural landscapes are diverse and colorful, with towering white stalagmites, stalactites, stone curtains, stone waterfalls, side channels, stone dams, and stone terraced fields formed from dripping, flowing, and stagnant water sedimentation. There are also numerous stone flowers, stone branches, curled stones, crystal flowers, stone hairs, stone chrysanthemums, stone pearls, and stone grapes formed by infiltrating, splashing, and capillary water sedimentation. There are many naturally formed shapes, like the Sea Turtle Protecting Treasure and the Three-Lamp Stalagmite. It also has crystal clear goose tubes, pearl towers, and skylights.

【Bus】Take bus 836 or 835 from Tianqiao to Liangxiang West Gate, then transfer to bus 833 (or bus Fang 13) to Shihua Cave Intersection. Bus Fang 43 goes directly to Shihua Cave.

【Self-Driving】

Exit the Jing-Shi Expressway at Fangshan (Yancun), pass through Tuoli, and arrive at Shihua Cave; Exit the Jing-Shi Expressway at Fangshan Liangxiang Airport, pass through Qinglong Lake and Beicheying, and arrive at Shihua Cave.
