Due to the high mountains and steep slopes, the road winding up the mountain, like a jade belt around the waist, especially the “Dragon Turning Head” and “Phoenix Tail” are unique, forming a unique landscape of mountain roads, truly a dangerous and winding road. Baihua Mountain Scenic Area is located in Lianhua Temple, Shijia Camp Township, Fangshan District, Beijing, 89 kilometers from the city center. The total area of the jurisdiction is 819 hectares, with an altitude of 1991 meters. The mountain range extends northeastward, connecting to Baicao Pan in the south and Laolongwo in the northeast, which is a branch of the Xiao Wutai Mountain in the northern end of the Taihang Mountains. It has five major landscapes: flowers, roads, clouds, light, and temples. Due to its beautiful natural scenery, rich ecological resources, fresh air, and pleasant climate, it has been a tourist and summer resort since ancient times. It is known as the “Ecological Famous Mountain in the Suburbs of Beijing, Human Green Home” by contemporary scholars and is a national 3A scenic spot.
