1、Baiyundong Scenic Area:
Take bus No. 01/03/17 to Qiaoyuan bus stop and walk about 344 meters.
2、North Gate of Xichou Mountain:
Take bus No. 16/226/227A to Xichou Mountain North Hub Station (Shengshan Avenue) bus stop and walk about 93 meters.
3、South Gate of Xichou Mountain:
Take bus No. 01/01/16 to Xichou Mountain South Gate bus stop and walk about 229 meters.
Introduction to the scenic area
The only 5A scenic spot in Foshan City, with an altitude of 346 meters, is an ancient volcano. The mountain is steep on the outside and flat on the inside, shaped like a lotus petal cluster, with peaks lined up.
There are 72 peaks in the scenic area, with beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural heritage. It is known as “the beacon of Pearl River civilization” and “the famous mountain of Neo-Confucianism in South China.”
It is divided into 10 scenic spots, namely, Xichou Mountain up and down, Yunhai Liantai (Nanhai Guanyin Cultural Park), Huang Dasen Shengjing Garden, Huang Feihong Lion Arts Martial Arts Museum, etc.
In the scenic area, you can admire the 61.9-meter-high Nanhai Guanyin statue, watch the “invisible foot” and lion dance performances in Huang Feihong’s movies, which are well worth a visit.
