1、Route Recommendation One
Long-distance bus: Beijing Liuliqiao, Sihui, and Beijiao long-distance bus stations all have long-distance buses to Fengning County, with a one-way fare of 60-70 yuan. After arriving in Fengning County, take a minibus to Datan Town, with a fare of about 20 yuan; Train: Take the train to Huhashi Station and get off, then take a shuttle bus to the first grassland in northern Beijing.
Generally, it is more convenient to travel to the Bashang Grassland from Beijing. Besides taking a long-distance bus or train, the most convenient way is to drive yourself. Not only can you save time on your trip, but you can also enjoy the scenery along the way. Fengning Bashang is more than 280 kilometers away from Beijing, about 3 and a half hours’ drive. Self-driving route: Beijing——Jingcheng Expressway——Jingshun Road——Huairou County (exit at Huairou exit)——Yanqi Lake——Tanghekou Town——Changshaoying——Nandalang——Labagoumen——Fengning County.

2、Route Recommendation Two
First, the simplest route is to take the Jingcheng Expressway from Beijing, exit at Huairou, then take Jingjia Road towards Yanxi Lake. From Yanxi Lake, go north (there is only one road), towards Liuli Temple, Tanghekou direction, from Tanghekou to Fengning County. There are 2 roads to Bashang from Fengning. One is S244, a mountain road with many large trucks transporting vegetables and coal. The other road is directly onto the G95 Expressway, exit at Datan.
Secondly, and also the route I recommend, you can take the Jingzang Expressway to Zhangjiakou Grassland Sky Road, south of the wild fox ridge. From the wild fox ridge, take the Grassland Sky Road all the way to the Huapiling exit, then go straight to Fengning Bashang.
