Yunji Mountain, Xinfeng: Native Triangle Maple
Yunji Mountain is located in the middle of Xinfeng County. It is the highest peak in the Pearl River Delta (with a maximum altitude of 1438.8 meters). Entering November, the red maple leaves all over the mountains have become the main color of the Yunji Mountain Scenic Area in late autumn. Tens of thousands of native triangle maples stretch from the source of the Xinfeng River, “Flowing Cloud Waterfall”, all the way down the mountain. When autumn and winter arrive, crimson maple leaves, orange lacquer trees, dark red mountain wax trees, light red salt trees, tender red lychee red leaves… over 3,000 mu of red leaves are dyed with autumn colors, a sight to behold.

Gui Feng Mountain, Xinhui
Located in the northern suburbs of Xinhui City, Gui Feng Mountain is one of the ten famous mountains in Guangdong. By the Niuyu Lake, you can also go sledding, barbecue, etc. There is a kind of maple tree called “Four-Clawed Strange Maple” here. The branches and trunk of the maple tree are very thick, and they extend towards the sky like claws. Its four limbs extend towards east, south, west, and north. From the top of Xiaohuangshan, gradually turning red to the low-lying areas of Qinshui Valley, not only maple leaves, but after a frost, Duying, mountain wax tree, and Lingnan maple, the entire mountain is dyed red.
