Yongning Gate (West Gate) of Xingcheng Ancient City is only 200-300 meters away from Xingcheng Railway Station, which can be reached on foot; you can also take Bus No. 1, 2, or 3 to Nanguan Station and walk to Nanguan Commercial Street, and enter Xingcheng Ancient City from Yanghui Gate (South Gate).

Xingcheng Ancient City is one of the top ten ancient cities in China. It is one of the four best-preserved Ming Dynasty ancient cities in China and the only square garrison city.
The city wall has four gates in the east, south, west, and north. There is a bell and drum tower in the center of the city. There are semicircular moats outside the city gate, and there are still forts at the four corners of the city wall.
It combines “city, spring, mountain, sea, and island” five scenic spots, which is extremely unique in the northern coastal tourism scenic area.
Inside the ancient city, there is also the oldest Xingcheng Confucian Temple in the three northeastern provinces, as well as the City God Temple, the General’s Mansion, the Zhou Family’s Old Residence, the Xingcheng Museum and other attractions.
